I rescently found part of a deer antler stuck in a road sign. We were heading up to the property and we were driving slowly up a road. There was a fork off a highway and right on the road sign post there seemed to be a stick stuck in it. so i got out and investigated. So the post had holes in it, it was a ' U channel sign post'. The piece of the antler was stuck in the holes. It was a 3 pt. but at the time it looked like it could have came from a 4 5 or 6 pt antler. It was just 2 tines tho. both of the tines were attached to the main beam and thats all there was. both other sides were ripped off. Later in the day i went back and founf the 3d tine on the ground under the sign. So i think the deer ran into the sign after crossing the street got stuck struggled and broke off the 3d tine, then broke free with only the base of his left antler left. what do u think of tht?

Bowhunters see how close they can get and make a clean kill.

Sounds like maybe a deer ran across the road, probably trying to avoid getting hit by a car, and it ran into the sign. Pics would be great!
