I can't find the thread where someone posted the link to the nice signs to buy for posting.

It was a thread only a month or two ago. Need to get some signs.

Can anyone remember it or post the website to buy the signs?

Thanks.

I used to use plastic vinyl yellow posted signs but they were expensive, became brittle, and couldn't handle the wind.  I bought a massive roll of heavier paper like stuff.  perforated to tear off each sign.  kind of reminded me of Frogtogg rain gear material.  I've been pretty happy with them.

They fade pretty quickly in direct sunlight. That is what is being replaced.

yea I noticed that... the heavier vinyl signs I've got left have done well with a plywood backer on locust wood posts.  i don't have to handle them much and the wind can't catch the sign itself.  definitely hold up to UV light.  every 3 years I like to check the ones on trees anyway as i don't want lost nails into trees.  thought about looking into spraying paper ones first.  not sure what's out there for that.

Hope this is ok to post here, but we have these for sale. 12" x 9" Aluminum (0.04 inch thick). Not terribly expensive, but not practical for the entire perimeter. Place at corners and/or approaches.  Photo shows front. back, and shotgun shell for size reference. If interested send me a PM.

I have used metal signs, still up after 10 years, but faided,Yellow hard plastic, after 2 years fell apart,The plastic coated on the roll, the ones I put on plywood still up 5 years later, the ones stapled to trees gone.Tee ones on plywood,I nailed the wood to the trees with the old nails with 2 heads,I wish I had more of them easy to remove if you want.

Anybody ever use the signs where the words are cut out of the plastic sign?

My thought is that they might be rather delicate over time. You really can't beat aluminum. They will last longer than you will if properly mounted on a separate board and attached to mature trees.
