sightings from the thru way

Today while on the way home from church I was on.the 990 and spotted a buck in between the Audubon and sweet home exits this buck was monster from what I could see her looked to be a huge 6x6 but he had an enormous spread tons of mass and tall.tines if I.didn't have the family in the car and a screaming baby I got sure would have pulled over for some pics I've seen a huge 13 and 15 pointer along the canal but this thing was way bigger then.both of them.

I saw a couple two weeks ago just north of where Chestnut Ridge goes under the 990 that were gaggers! They were coming down the bank looking to go east across the 990. Hopefully they had a change of heart........!!

Huh, I drive that way to get to my ground and scan the woods all the time n never see any off the highway, call me unlucky I guess.. Have seen a couple doe's n little bucks ridin along the canal on the UB bike path.. That's what a no hunting zone will give ya...

Last year I saw two right by the north French exit. Both big 8 or 10 I almost crashed lol

I seen, what I believed to be a nice 6x5  with a wide spread on 990 over by the French Rd exit, front of a woods last Sunday coming home from Ohio.  I spun off the exit heading east, turned around and he was gone!  Also had a beauty cross in front of the head lights by Millard Filmore. Suburban Hospital.  Amherst sure raises some nice ones.

 

Got more of my share of views out in the bean fields in Ohio last week.

I have seen them along 990 after they were hit by semi's and they looked like a tomato exploded, blood all over the place. Not a safe place for the deer to be crossing!!

Along the highways are usually small pockets of not hunt able timber or cover. I've seen big ones out this way too and out 88.

I past this ticket down by tift farms atleast once a week today I decided to stop and park at the baseball diamond around the corner and go up in my bucket truck to get a good view from 50feet up I made it about 35 feet up when I spotted these to bucks

Were passing the old army base in Geneva tomorrow night at o'dark thirty. Hope to spot some of those pibalds.

Last time I saw a big buck on the thru way it was a nice 8 back end crushed dead on the side of the road.

Been living on the darn 90 lately from NF to the hudson valley- slow over all. Gcc used to have a great show as we'll as one field by Dewitt. Saw a wounded 140-50" 10 lie down in the median just past Gcc one day. Gone 4 hrs later. Tifft farm in buffalo is another great spot for big guys

Tift farms has so many giants over there I was on the 90 today heading west toward Angola and seen two different large groups of turkeys with a bunch of young ones

Golf course in nt, brush off transit, railyard walden & Harlem ......just goes to show that most hunters are greedy and age is why rack sizes I'm hunting ny are what they are

The biggest buck.I've ever seen was a 21 pointer it was about 10 years ago on river road near dunlop this buck looked like he could barely hold his head up I.posted and he let me walk with in 10 feet of him the length and mass was out of control.

I would love to use the bucket truck.for a tree stands out goes up 47 feet and is pretty quite going up and down
