Went to Dicks today and picked up a code blue double tank battery operated drop time scent dispenser for $7.00 and an Evercalm Stink stick for $9.00. Some good sales going on there, clothes on clearance. Etc... May have to go back again....

After 45 years of hunting, I find I have everything I need.  But not everything I want.  When I really look into wanting something, I often conclude I don't need it.  I got new boots last year, so this year I don't think I need anything.

I could write a long list of things I want though.  ;)

Depending on how well I do during first part of bow season...my ML tag to use my cross bow for turkey and deer...So how are they going to do that?...No ML for turkey..Bear,,,and small game, just deer or will you still be forced to buy that to use one period? Will it be illegal to have one in field for turkey before last 2 weeks of Bow?....this is a real "cluster"...how are they going to write those micro rules?

It is an illness, suffered by many, understood by few. The only treatment is to sit in solitude in a tree stand or with another sufferer of this affliction. There is no known cure, though there is speculation that relentless purchase of hunting equipment would alleviate some of the symptoms, the results are inconclusive. The first step is admitting you have a problem, a difficult task for some, impossible task for most of us in the early stages of development, becoming easier as time go's on.

Buck decoy ... Gonna try my hand at it a few time in late October , after scoutin I've got beans instead of corn this year so it sets up perfectly at the edge between two heavy doe bedding areas ... Other than that bought a new cold weather jacket( tired of layering to the hills) and maybe another hang on ... We'll see what kind of deals cabelas has during opening.. Gonna be a MAD house !

Nothing for new for this year. Got everything I need and have to be more frugal with my money. Will be in San Antonio in March for a wedding so I'm looking to book a Javelina or Feral Hog hunt near there. That'll be my little gift to myself for this year.

One more climber and maybe a small rangefinder. I've been putting off the range finder for a few years. Other than that just some fresh scents.

I say that now…LOL!

insulation, drywall, 47000 lineal feet of knotty pine, 1000sq ft. of hickory hardwood flooring ... licenses in pa and ny, for what little i will get to hunt probably. I do have to pick up a few cases of steel shot for duck season though.
