Question for Lifetime License Holders

Has anyone received their license in the mail yet?  My nephew has one but hasn't received it yet and with licenses being on sale I would have thought they were mailed out already.  Thanks in advance.

Still waiting for mine and my son's to arrive. We usually get them before licenses go on sale, so not sure what the hold up is this year.

I haven't got mine yet either. I was at dicks last night. I tried to get my permits but they told me the system was down. They are available to get now

I noticed over the years I get mine a week or so after they go onsale.

Each year I start getting worried, but they always seem to come through ok. I guess it's just a normal distrust of the government when it comes to them doing anything without screwing it up. But so far, I've been pretty pleased with the way the lifetime licenses are handled. No surprises ...........yet.

I just purchased my lifetime sportsman license last year.  They sent me all the tags and everything was good.  Just a couple weeks ago I moved into a new house and called DEC to update my address to make sure I received this years tags and they sent me a plastic card with a picture of a black bear on it with my ID# and other personal information.  Is this new for this year?  Anyone else have one?

I might be wrong but I believe all of the life time licenses have a black bear on them

I just thought it was kind of strange that I never received the card until now.  Last year they only sent me tags.

Word has cards for some reason are sent out at random.....No paper license for my wife's lifetime fishing license....just a card.

I believe I had my lifetime license a few years before I got my pretty black bear card.

Did not get it yet either. But registered on the DEC website and applied for a DMP and was notified I got 1 out of 2 choices.

It's pretty good gives you all of your past License. Info.

Well a few weeks puts us in Sept, which is when the new license's are valid, as they switched them this year to Sept 1st instead of Oct 1st
