Slumper seat

Recommended Posts

I've had this direct outdoors hang on stand for 4 seasons. The seat it came with was not that comfortable so I always packed one of those cushy foam 5$ jobs and was satisfied. This year my seat started to get very noisy, to the point where I could barely move and it would still make god awful noises. They only wanted 25$ for a replacement, but I wanted to explore my options. Did a little research and found slumper seats. was going to go with just the bottom but spent the extra 20$ to get the seat and back combo. It's the super slumper model. It's got a 4" butt pad and a 1" back. Made from some super soft fleecy like material that is super quiet and waterproof. In fact I don't think I can even make a noise if I try. Longest sit so far was 7 hrs and it was a treat. About 4hrs into it I fine tuned the straps to give me a little bit more " recline " and it's been that way since.

3 things I was worried about,

1. Sound

2. Was the 4" going to turn into 1" after a couple hours

3. Did I waste my money on getting the back section

All 3 questions have been answered and I am extreamely impressed. No noise, the 4" pad stays 4" ! I guess I would like a 2" back but the 1" does a great job of keeping my back comfy.

thoroughly impressed with the product and glad to know it's all made in the usa, something portrayed by the company to be of upmost importance.

they make all kinds of replacement seats too, ladder stand, hang on, ground seats etc. Check them out, you won't be disappointed. By gun season I will have new seats in all my ladder stands. Just hope the tree rats leave them alone !
