Golf Cart

Just driving your car in the ADK with snow is a challenge. I had to turn around and hunt a little farther south last yr. A lot of dirt roads with ice or never being plowed. Rough terrain as well. Take compass and a couple PB&J sandwiches.

We have an older 6x4 John Deere Gator.  Pretty amazing off road & can pull and carry a lot of weight but the underside is like a metal john boat and it becomes stuck in snow pretty quick once the snow lifts the wheels off the ground.  I'd expect a golf cart to be the same.  Expect a real off road type utility vehicle to be better.

My dad was a golf course superintendent for 43 years. We'd use an electric golf cart before school to check traps. Would drive into the woods on the x country ski paths and this is pre snow. I never want to push out another stuck golf cart out of the mud. Bad idea IMO. Not much clearance either.
