In releasing the candidate ratings, NYSRPA President Tom King had this advice for voters:

"Everyone needs to vote for Rob Astorino for Governor, preferably on the Conservative line. For state legislative races, vote for the highest rated candidate in each district. If the incumbent voted for the so-called SAFE Act and is rated "FS", vote for their opponent no matter who they are or what their grade is. They do not respect your civil rights."

I have one rating for ALL politicians and I need only three words for it.

THEY ALL SUCK!

But some suck worse than others. Some are even downright dangerous. This will not be the first time I have voted for the lesser of two evils. I do not have to be doing back-flips with excitement over a candidate in order to make a necessary and intelligent choice. The worst possible decision would be for people to forfeit their obligations to vote because neither choice of politician walks in absolute perfect lock-step with everyone of our views.
