Went back Sunday night and got an 8f and 7f

I do not know why people would take one they would never use because theirs not available. Common sense would have been wait till fixed!

No one standing in a 2 hour line Saturday knew it was broken and might be fixed.

We were only told that no 7H where available when they signed on.

I hunt both 7J and 7H but only had tags for J.

Was looking for H but took J as I hunt there or hoped to be able to trade.

Now if 7H comes open, I'm most likely screwed unless they allow us to trade in Saturdays.

As I said. DEC screwed the pooch on this. They should have shut the system down until they got it fixed. Nothing good came from trying to keep it opened running half a$$ED

They took some that had the bugs worked out and was working fine and tried to fix it....broke it...tried fixing the break then broke it even more.....I can't wait to get a deer and try calling it in...what surprises will they have for us then...lol

Went and got 2- 8G at town hall  9:40 am. today. No waiting.  Clerk confirmed system  is still having problems. They were told there is still tags available for areas declined over the weekend.  My tags had to be printed 3 times before got a usable set.

I think you are screwed once they are issued.

Hit Wally world in Canandaigua at lunchtime. No line and clerks confirmed problems with system over the weekend. Only 1 DMU marked as out. Got 2 for 8H. In and out the door in 10 minutes.

they handled the whole thing wrong. I would call region 8 and make a stink. THEY screwed up, not you Eddie.

It said right on the DEC site what was going to be available ALL day Saturday so when this was not showing up on Saturday figured the site was screwed up and to wait till it was fixed. I hope they let you guys swap them somehow.

 

The old system worked perfect but hey we needed to spend millions cause it did not "communicate with other systems"? As far as I know that did not bother anyone in DEC just the other departments that could not mine the DEC license information!

I called my youngest son . He forgot about the DMPs . He stopped at Gander Mt after work and got 2 8F tags .

I went Saturday and when I couldn't get any for 8R I just said forget it. Called my town clerk today and she said they were available. I went right down and got 2. Out the door in 5 minutes. Sucks people were told they were not available for the areas they wanted and got them for other areas only to have the areas they wanted available on Monday. DEC dropped the ball on this one

Went to walmart last night no lines and got 2 for 8J, Looked on Craigslist Fingerlakes today and people are trying to trade tags all over, Instead of waiting for the glitch people just got tags for anywhere they could and kicked themselves in the ass, Honestly i hope that if they use them in the wrong area they get busted, JMHO
