Rifles in 2015 for Genesee County?

Yeah a few counties got it on the second try. I think they were proposed too late in the legislative session, hence why this one is going in early. Liv got it on the second try and I think wyoming too. Liv was at the county level though, just too late to get it to the legislature first time around. I think wyoming didnt make it the first time since it hit legislature the last week or so of the session.

Yeah it took our county 2 times, but those were procedural screw-ups. I'm talking about the board of supervisors proposing it, and public opinion shooting it down.

It seems to me that if the legislative process is followed without legislative screw-ups, it turns out to be a done-deal.

Letchworth didn't allow them after Livingston went.

Places with draws or permit application processes, in my mind, probably wouldn't go rifle. Places with alot of non-hunting traffic...probably wouldn't get them either.

The pumpkins in Darien seem to have a poor track record of safety with scatterguns- if they get something flatter and faster to play with it could only be worse.... Especially for the folks that live/drive around the parameter.

Drive by there all the time and come gun- the lots are overflowing.

Stopped by the offices today for permits .... The refuge IS allowing rifle but the refuge is split between Orleans county and genesee... Shocker, Darien shotgun only ...

Little scary. I hope those using riffle use extreme care.

Hard to judge, back in on the Iroquois where the county line falls. Those using rifle, be careful as, I'm sure the ECO's won't think twice about handing out tickets.
