Thank you hounds ..I kept my winter rats in the truck since he gave me 6.75 for my fall rats .. I think I might send my winters to Canada along with a fox ... 2 or 3 fox are being made into hats ..they are cheap to have made to tanned and made into hat it comes too 80$ per hat ...

So buried my quad with my 4 yr old yesterday....he wanted to try and plow thru a drift was about 3 ft tall lol....so I did figured I would try being 4x4 thought I'd be able to back out....needless to say we got stuck about half mile from house and we had to trek back thru the snow...he was a trooper and walked whole way with minimal complaints. So been out sence 9 am digging it out finally got it out....been a crappy season for me snow really put a hurting on how I trap. Hopefully we get a melt off before the season ends otherwise idk what I'm gonna do.

Yea there will be days like that but shit happens you learn from it and move on ... with earth anchors you need no more than 12 inches most of cable .. I've never had a yote pull 12 inches out and they are easier to retrieve .. if you wanna go 1 step further buy the smallest quick links they got and hook traps on with them so if u can't dig out you just un clip and flag with pink ribbon and take trap till spring then dig out .. good luck
