I can't help; I got mine a Nikon D80 DSLR because she can still use the lenses for her film SLR with it, but you said no camera in the OP.

I know my wife would be happy with about 40 lbs of goose jerky.  I was up at deer camp for two days and she went through three geese worth of it!

Because I had the photographer crop him out of the pics

I thought me dancing around in the background in a nude leotard performing a rendition of Sia's Chandelier video would make a great addition to their photo but apparently Biz's fiancé didn't think so.  All the dancing around for nothing.

Not for nothing, because we have the original unedited images as well. I'm saving those for blackmail when you run for congrsss

Does she like to cook and bake? Kitchen Aid mixer ?! Wife has one and it's been on for the last week making cookies and holiday candy. About $300 and up.   (NO, NO COUNTER SPACE, TOO MUCH $)

Vera Bradley purses are the in thing. A lot cheaper than Coach.  (MAYBE)

Do you entertain for Christmas ? Nice set of Christmas dishes? (NO, THANKSGIVING & EASTER :))

Good set of Henkel or other kitchen knives ?  (GOT CUTCO)

I liked someones car starter idea (SHE HAS IT ALREADY)

RE: spa   White Oaks in Niagara Lake ,ON is incredible (right off the QEW). Wife and I went for our 10 year anniversary. Only massage I've ever had. I don't feel as if I lost my man card for it. Honey facial . Both get massaged in beds next to each other, hot tub, bed was incredible (not even sure of the thread count on those sheets), cheese and fruit plate awaiting in our room with a bottle of champagne, chocolates on the pillow. 5 star restaurant. First class all the way.  (GOOD HEAVENS IT DOES SOUND PLEASANT (BUT I DON'T HAVE A PASSPORT OR ENHANCED LICENSE))

You get an A+ for effort!

You could do that "random act of kindness" with her.
Give her a couple $20 gift cards to Walmart or something, then take her there.
She's not allowed to spend them, but she can't leave the store with them either.
She has to give them away to whatever random strangers she chooses, for whatever reasons she chooses.
It makes her feel good about HERSELF..., it makes her(and you) feel good about YOU..., and it makes those you touch with your unexpected generosity feel good about MAN KIND!

Make sure you grab a lottery ticket on your way out the door...., because I guarantee you you're gonna get lucky, lol!

I just screwed that quote up lol. Instead she wanted an Alex and anni braclet do I bought her a handful of those and called it a day.

I just reminded her that all I wanted for Xmas was to go and hear the Philharmonic orchestra do their Christmas show and didn't get it lol

Rob ...hope she does too really...THAT SAID....

To all non married ppl..NEVER give an engagement ring on a birthday ...Christmas..Valentine's day.or any holiday. Life is fickle and can turn around on us as can loved ones...in the case of . Engagements...you should always get the expensive ring back should that happen...if you make it a "gift" you can't.

last thing I bought she never used.  It was a cemetery plot.  (relax just kidding)  I do not have to worry about such things but if I were to buy for a lady,I would need to know her likes dislikes etc.  i bet if you listen close and pay attention, shje had told you at least a dozen times by now. Tune in she will steer you down the right path.  if not a nice weekend getaway is always nice.

Grow - you are correct, I've done the research. If things don't work out and I don't get married in June, I'm selling the ring and going on a sheep hunt!

Um, Biz.....Aren't you the guy who posted about bring an extra g/f to camp on my food for deer camp thread.

I am sure you and your wife to be will have a happy and long marriage. Jeez. LOL

Take a vacation. Just you and her. If you can spend the cash on out of state hunts, you surely can spend money on a romantic weekend for your wife.
