Has anyone ever tried any of the remote control coyote callers. Do they work, and do you have any tips for using them... My girlfriends family has 40 acres in liberty and they were nice enough to let me deer hunt this year, they have asked if I can help

Get rid of some of the yotes they have running around and I would love to

Help... Never hunted dogs before so any advice would be a big help.

Thanks!

Hand called for years with no success. Not even a sighting. Bought a foxpro with the foxjack decoy.... had a dog on the ground in ten minutes. Have had great luck since then with it. I have hand calls but never use them anymore. Handsfree, no moving, loud, all kinds off calls, just a fun way to get dogs !

A big thing is getting the attention away from where you are sitting. So if you are calling with mouth calls then I like to have a decoy out. With a remote caller I sometimes use a decoy and sometimes I don't.One thing,on your first calling set call nice and light,if a fox or coyote is close they will get spooked and if they do come out it will be from downwind and then the jig is up.Play the wind just like deer, and keep as still or more still than when turkey hunting.Coyotes are very skittish and it wont take much to set them off in the opposite direction real fast.
