Congratulation Deerthug.  I don't blame you for being proud. I read that it takes "two lifetimes to master" the sport or art of fencing .   It  sounds like your daughter is well on her way.  There is certainly  more to it than meets the eye of the non-swordsman.   You know it is also very nice to hear about  young people learning to do something difficult instead of  just working keyboards and electronic displays.  A belated happy birthday to you!!!

Thank you for all the congrats but they all go to my daughter. Today we spent all day at Garden City HS for indivdual competitions and after all was said and done she came in 5th out of the 20 top elite foils but she remains 4th All-County!
