Sounds like a good way to trade info on different areas (not saying give up your best spot), skills/methods, or find a hunting buddy.

Week day evenings are pretty much out for me.

Are you thinking something like a restaurant/bar in the evening sometime?

If had to wait until May, I suggest a large public tract after a morning turkey hunt.  Do a lunch or snacks and the like before heading home as another idea.

Sweet Old Bill, Did you mean Stewart Buffer lands or the actual airport?

I know a few persons on this thread do go to Stewart buffer lands.  Not sure how many vehicles can fit in the main lot for the Stewart buffer lands. Never counted the spots when headed in for a turkey hunt.

I guess we would need to get approximate numbers to see if fit everybody in there.

Would we set 1 date rain or shine, or also back up date in case of foul weather (like thunder storms)?

Ridge rd (Stewart) would be a good spot. Can also park on the over pass. Will need to do this early am due to all the walkers and the hikers. Lets wait till it gets warmer out and maybe the fish are biting. Some people may want to fish after. Late April early May when the stripers are running? Just a thought. Any other ideas out there. Were is Sweet old bill?
