Letchworth Cabin Stay

My wife decided to rent a cabin at Letchworth Park this summer , Area "A". OK I guess, and I had better go. Anyone ever stay there for a week? Gotta haul stuff to make it doable for the wife. From soup to nuts...prepare food in advance. if it was me, no problem. With a woman, I foresee a problem. Plus the hunt camp is only 40 minutes away and is free. damn.

I don't know if the public pool is still open..but weather permitting a good place to relax...great hiking...the Glen for a dinner...she'll have fun

Also your not too far from Silver Lake drive in...miniture golf,2 screens and on certain nights they have a classic car night...pretty good food too

Thank you. We'll have fun. Funny you should mention Silver Lake. Many members of my mom's side of the family resided in Silver Springs, Castile and Warsaw. Good memories of Hanging out and working with my Aunt and Uncle's dairy farm up Broughton Rd. and, of course, many visits to Letchworth.

I used to hang out at the Silver Lake Drive-in and the skating rink ......... We used to camp in Letchworth when the kids were small . We stayed at a cottage near Portageville with 4 other couples one winter . Deer came near the cabin at night . The park is awesome !

Is Silverlake campground still up and running? I still remember my Dad saying we better go inside this storm is bad that was in 1989.It tore the awning off the motorhome.
