This money is going to counties upstate and not to NYC.  Critics are not happy about who's getting it though.  NY State taxpayers are paying huge costs for Cuomo's anti-gun agenda.  Money like this is spent, a lot of abuse occurs, lawsuits are filed, court costs are incurred by the state and taxpayers pick up the whole tab for NY State in every single case.  Meanwhile crime is unaffected.  Money well spent?  I think not.  It's damn the taxpayer, full steam ahead!
