First Bear I have ever got on camera.

Me to !! I am hoping it grows to scale, either way needs to be taken out of the heard. It has alot of growths on its one leg, I can see in a different pic and he has the black lump on his face.

Yes it is growing downward on side of face, if you click the picture it should enlarge.

It enlarges a bit, but not enough that I caught that side was actually growing down until Paula stated it. I can see the black thing on its mouth and a black spot on the side.

Nice bear also. Planning on hunting that bear?

Here are some additional photos of the buck.

To be able to harvest a Bear is a true dream of mine off of state land, no bait bucket or paying an outfitter.

I will be moving 4 cameras in to the area to see if I can capture more photos, or any possible pattern. But I think its very slim odds, I only got the one picture with the camera being out for 5 weeks.

Either way though slim odds or not, I will be spending a lot of time in this area this year to do my best to see that Bear !

The black lumps are warts, lots of deer get them, and they fall off. Nothing to be concerned about. The antler growth is most likely pedicule damage, or possibly an old injury to the opposite side of his body. There is nothing genetic going on here. Even if there was, you cant control genetics in a wild herd anyway, so dont bother "culling" him. If he floats your boat, kill him with no excuses and be happy about it.
