Having the first day the I was able to sight it in the day started well. I actually shot out to 100yrds in a 4 inch group. Then it shot a little off but I thought nothing of it. Last shot I believe the limb blew up or the string slipped the cam. Anyway by the picture it's screwed. I Believe it was a fluke. I'm not upset at mission or the bow shop (yet). If I don't get handed a new one walking out tomorrow that may be a diffrent story.

the Mathews made crossbow? How cute to market under a subsidiary company. With a differen name" Mission" . Mathews gets a piece of the monetary market of the crossbow expansion, while keeping those compound Mathews bow hunters insulated from being associated with a company that makes " crossbows"

Mathews doesn't make crossbows they market them under mission. It's Ben done a few days , going to pick it up tomorrow. I would have had to wait longer on s replacement so they basically ordered a new front everything no questions asked. I'll let you know what I think after some field practice. Kinda scary when I actually put it in prospective

FYI - They all do it, Mathews, Hoyt, BowTech, Bear, Parker, etc. Very few companies are strictly focused on one or the other types of bows! Lots of these traditional compound & Xbow companies also have off-shoot or sister companies offering downscaled or less expensive archery equipment. It's all about the marketing and the green-backs! IMO, not so much about being isolated from criticism!

With the 200lb draw law the speeds on the recurves will not go up any the new ones might be more quite and lighter but they won't eb faster.

but what is that extra speed really going to do for you. Does it really give any advantage on jumpy deer at say 35yds? Because the deer I've taken at my 25yd max never had a chance, but I had a clean miss on a string jumper once at 35 yds, just wondering. Excals are easy and I just love the accuracy.

In my 10 years of x bow hunting I am a firm believer that faster is better with a crossbow way more so than a verticle now. There is a huge difference between 300fps and 375 or even 350. This is just my experience in having killed a lot of deer with them. "I lived in the carolinas for 10 years and in NC You buy tags by the arm length and in sc there is no tags just a daily limit.

Yes I had a picture of it and then my IPhone slipped off the dash of my ups truck on the road going 40mph. Went from 60yrd to a hundred and the group was the only shots at that distance. I pulled the bolts and my next shot completely missed the block lol. The scope sights in at 20 then 30 and then has marks out to 100 , you adjust the scope to the fps. ~ had to try it.

Went and picked it up today. Scope was dead on at 30yrds. I only can get 60yrds in my back yard and this is a pic of the first group in the wind. Won't be shooting groups anymore. I shoot a Mathews chill turned all the way up and the speed difference is night and day.
