That's an excellent picture for non-hunters to see as reminder of what Mother Nature's alternatives to hunting are. Not real pretty is it? There are some much more ugly ways to go than a bullet. This is just one of them.

Wow, neat pic. Ill bet that buck was hit by a car and the bear was literally seizing the opportunity.

Something a little fishy about this photo. The buck's nec looks a little thin after the body, and I don't see any blood, ripped or torn flesh. Would a bear chomp over the loins like that or first go for the rump.

I'm sure its a real picture. The buck's back is probably broken from a car and he can't even feel the bear chewing on him.

I wonder about this picture. Looks like the bear is draped (like it was placed there). Who knows, if it was real that is way COOL.

Yes I would say that buck had a bad day. Although that is a good sequence of photos. Interesting to see.

i was going to question the pic being real but it looks like WNY answered that. WOW thats crazy... the cycle of life huh. Nice buck too! shame he had to go that way. cool pics, thanks for sharing!
