Well im headed up on Sunday to set some things up with a guy for getting my gravel driveway put in on the new property and while hes there im going to see if he can dose my field so i can come up next weekend and after turkey hunting start getting some food plots in... Don't let it consume your weekends. Make sure you set aside time to relax and enjoy the place. Take advantage of the guy while he is there, some of these guys charge for unloading the big equipment. Have fun!

I too am going to our camp today! Haven't been there since end of February. Yesterday it snowed, so I hope to see some good tracks near my trail cam. Will post (if there are any good ones) tonight.

Cool deal. I'm heading up on Monday for turkey hunting opening day. Good luck with the new place. What did you decide to do about a cabin?
nice goodluck! hope you come home with some birds. i have not decided on a cabin yet. im up in the air at the moment on that. Right now just focusing on getting the driveway in and these foodplots. Also have to start hanging my stands soon and would deff like to put a small pond in near the food plots. I am going to be planting Corn, Purple top Turnips and Biologic Maximum along with 10 more apple trees.

Just got back from my camp and checked the trail camera. I had several shots of a snowshoe rabbit, a coyote and several deer - all does. Here is a shot of one of the does.

And here is the coyote - see it on the right side of the picture, standing on a fallen log -

Went to college at Plattsburg.
Great area here as well as where you are in the Finger Lakes. Besides hunting in the Adirondack PARK my son and I also hunt private farms between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes.
