  1. Thank you. You have one of my favotire combinations. Glass over slate in osage.
  2. I don't make copper yet. Had some request so I plan on tinkering this summer and winter.
  3. You will have a nice call from Mr. Sneed. I love his hot hen. Copper, glass, aluminum, slate, crystal, titanium, brass, corian.... All the surfaces work. I think it's more about what your saying and when your saying it. Though I do think some frequncies get hit more than others. I use raw aluminum. Any sort of pre-conditioned surface is going to wear down and require conditioning again. Anodized will wipe away with conditioning over time. So I just go fight for the raw. It is consitent from the time you get it till its end. That is, you will have to maintain it but the call won't change from the preconditioned surface to your method. Green scotch brite is how I make it work.
  4. I swear sticks can jump when it's dark out.
  5. I know a guy who makes a good one.
  6. Thanks folks. The aluminum has had birds talking all year. Missed a good bird early this season that I called with it. Been having troubles getting them fully committed the last few days though.
  7. Yes. I make pots and have been tinkering with trumpets. It's a fun hobby.
  8. If I only new the answer to that. I'm betting frequency has something to do with it though.
  9. Thank you, thank you. Gotta get outa work and on the road to dads and fill the last tag and start fishin. I see the fellas out everyday now and I don't even have my boat ready.
  10. Killed this one this morning. He fell in love with my aluminum pot. Gobbled a bunch on his way in. I did not have to do much convincing. A few clucks purs and leaf scratches. He was hooked.
