I am in morrisville and they have started as of Mon from we have seen I counted 5 diff bucks on my watch from 7-11:30.my buddy was 300 yds away and he seen 3.we went back on wed and the top where we hunt was tore up I counted at least 7-10 scrapes and I seen 4 rubs that where not there on mon.so I would say by all that action over night it is getting to be that time.

My buddy just got home from same spot seen 3 different by noon so I would say they are starting to get a little curious

Finnaly bucks are on the move.5 different bucks from 7am to 12

Do any of you guys know where to get a couple guns redone with the cerakote.

Also how do u get a solid account of the numbers

Just buy a telescoping ladder and pull it up with you

OK quick question?on a average day I see say 10 doe and if I'm lucky 1 buck. What should I be seeing on average.is it two doe to one buck?

Well I got to the woods late,tried to sneak into the area I was going to hunt and surprise up jumps 10 doe all going in different direction.so I finnaly get past one of the bedding areas slip through another and clmb my tree.sit for 5 hrs don't even see a chipmunk. So I go back up the hill climb another tree about 4pm two small doe come out and bed 20 yds from my tree,I fig if something worth shooting comes out I'm busted.so I watch these two deer for a while then surprise what I been waiting for all season quarting to me down hill looks like a nice 8pt I stand up as he draws closer and hello he looks my way and its a half rack buck.I thought I had a shooter for the first time this yr.we will see what pops out wed.

I just love the rush when they walk up on you and have no clue.to who or what you are.I had a nice 8 walk up on me well I was watching another buck and some birds walking up from the fields last yr,when I finally seen him he was prob 10 yds from me with drool dripping down his chin,and all I could do is watch him walk.but that's why I love it.

just wanted to know if any of you hunt with your bow from the ground?I started to do this two yrs ago.there is something awesome about a buck walking up on you with nothing but open space between you and him,then trying to get a shot.i just sit on their trails and wait for them to get to the bedding areas. anybody have any tips i can use in my hunts.also i dont use a blind.
