  1. I've been hunting for 15 years and never had this happen. Applied for DMPs in 7R but only got one. What comes in the mail Nov 1? The second 7R DMP. Great surprise, anyone ever had this happen?
  2. Taken in Ohio earlier this year. Some really nice bucks! Here was the body of the email: "This is the result of three bucks all fighting for one lady. They had the bank of this creek all tore up. All together I estimated the deer to score well over 400 inches of antler. The biggest one was a massive 6x5, approx 165 inches. the other two were around 130 or so."
  3. Never thought a deer of this size would be taken down by a yote!
  4. Found this while out hunting today. He had been there a little while, mostly just bones and a little fur left. 18.5" inside spread and 6.25" circumference at the base. No clear evidence of how he died. Really nice buck, such a shame.
  5. One of the guys hunting on the same property shot this buck early this morning. I could hear this buck grunting around 6:45am but could never get my eye on him. Solid deer.
  6. Most likely a parasitic twin that never fully developed. I'm willing to bet that much of the inside of this dos is taken up by a undeveloped "dead" twin.
  7. Just spoke with my dad who has worked at Cornell for 30 years. He has it from very reliable sources this is in fact the Cornell Golf Course buck. Scored over 200 inches and was taken legally.
  8. There was a post on here last year of the 12 point running on the Cornell Golf Course (with pictures), pretty much bordering Cayuga Heights. I havent heard a word of this going around town ad my father works at Cornell U. I will have to check around and see if anyone has heard anything.
  9. Where about in Van-Etten/Spencer? Sounds like near Mcduffy Hollow or Vennel Rd. I have family in Spencer that have two great pieces of land to hunt, one on Vennel Rd and one on Hulbert Hollow
  10. Here is the problem with finding him during the daylight. This cam is about 85 yards off a major road - across the road we cannot hunt. I am pretty sure he is heading down across the road into a dense swap with thick pines. We have cams in the opposite direction where we do hunt but have not been seeing him regularly on those cams (only a couple times in a month). We do have at least three 10's and some nice 8's on the other cams, which I will be trying to get a nice close look at tomorrow!
  11. Have this guy on cam almost every morning between 4:45AM and 5:15AM. Hopefully he will come out during the daylight while i'm in my stand so I can get a better look at him
  12. Got a picture of this guy, close up, on Thursday night. Most of the bigger boys are strictly moving at night...guess that's how they got big!
  13. Bobcat. I got some pictures of one last year and even a short video. You can view that at:
  14. Two bruisers out for a midday stroll. Both now on the hit list.
