  3. I run a bunch of cameras in the fall (25 or so) but only keep 2 of them out all year. Those 2 cameras are cell cameras that are strategically placed to monitor my property for trespassers, etc. So more of a security use case in the off-season.
  4. Yes, but I am out and about all the time so it isn't an issue.
  5. I just prime on my press after cleaning the pockets I just fill the primer tube and prime.
  6. I still use a lube pad. those cases can still be saved I would just load them at the low end with the cheapest bullets I have and fire form them back into shape. I have a 6mm rem br and it's really hard to find bass so I have to save all the brass I can. Back in the old days when I shot IHMSA and shot a 7mm TCU one of the best ways to make brass was to take 223 or 222mag brass and fire form them. 222mag brass was better it's longer then 223 brass and would size or fire form to size where 223 brass would always be short.
  7. If I remember correctly, when the back tags were paper. The print was permanent ink. today most of the ink is water based. Also if you lost your back tag you would have to go to a DEC office to get a new one and they would write your number in black marker on a blank tag. if you lost carcass tags you were shit out of luck.
  8. Dry lube? Tell me more?
  9. Biden DHS bungles then dismisses deportations for 200k illegals: It's hard to know whether to chalk this up to appalling incompetence or sheer malevolence, but these are your tax dollars at work. Some 200,000 illegal immigrants have had their deportation cases dismissed by so-called immigration judges due to a failure of the Biden administration's Department of Homeland Security to file standard paperwork. As the New York Post reports: "The DHS's failure to file thousands of notices to appear before scheduled hearing dates left courts without jurisdiction to handle deportation cases and rule on asylum claims, according to a report released Wednesday by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University. 'These large numbers of dismissals and what then happens raise serious concerns,' the TRAC report, which includes data through February 2024, states." We wonder: How many of these illegals are potential rapists and murderers, such as Jose Antonio Ibarra, who allegedly bludgeoned nursing student Laken Riley to death? In a case of comical understatement, TRAC, which is a nonpartisan research group, said that the "almost total lack of transparency on where and why these DHS failures occurred" was — wait for it — "troubling." You're telling us. As for what happens to these illegals now, search us. And search the Biden administration, whose DHS didn't respond to the Post's request for comment.

  16. We usually use perch minnows....but get just as many with a little gob of worm. When the weather is real cold we used to use an ice dot with mousie grubs on them, tied above a minnow.
  17. RCBS used to be a very easy to deal with company....I havent needed to do so in a few years, but I would give customer service a call and ask them if it was supposed to come with both (does it say on the box?) . Yep, small press for small primers, large for large. Put a dab of vaseline on the hinge point for lube...it will bind and break eventually without it.
  18. Thanks, I did end up denting a couple of shoulders. I sprayed the cases lightly with the one shot and after they seemed to be giving way to much resistance I sprayed them some more and while they worked in easier a couple did dent. This is a big learning process but I am enjoying it.
  19. Yes to much lube is a problem. I use the one-shot on my revolver brass . I use rcbs and the lube pad for my rifle cartridges.. lube an even coat then I roll on a thin tissue paper to remove any excess. Doesn't take much to dent a shoulder.
  20. Yes there is, too much lube will cause dents in the case shoulder. I use Hornady Unique case lube, it is a paste that I put on with my finger and spread on the cases very thinly. Al
  21. Commercial brass but some of it was fired more than once. Hornady one shot lube is what I am using. Is there a such thing as using to much lube? Previously I was using the mounted press to seat the primer but it was a slow process. I was hoping the hand primer was going to me easier and a little faster.
