  1. Let me start with...Woman know as we age there will be increased hair growth...lip.. gin...eyebrows...nose... it's hormone induced... So we pluck...shave...wax...and burn it away with creams....We do it for our selves and for you guys... Now ... I believe we need a new hunting season....yep for this species is multiplying rapidly....and are causing detrimental effects to the health care system... They are easy to spot ...you can find their hairy little butts backing out of middle/older mens ears and noses...I believe they may be the elusive long haired hamster...I say elusive for one never see their faces...just their butts at the top of T shirts and hanging out of ears and noses.... Imagine all the hearing problems and olfactory and even taste problems that we could clear up by killing those suckers...Really if you can smell ...every thing tastes better...if you can hear ...no need to have the TV up as loud as can be...Imagine the improvements to life for EVERY one in general In conclusion I thing a bill needs to be passed implementing a new hunting tool they are safe and inexpensive and easy to find...ear and nose trimmers

  2. One of the farmers that farms the land I hunt was talking to me about this very thing. He said if all of the seed is tiny, and youre having a tough time with laying down too much seed, just get some play sand and mix the seed into it. It helps with a more even broadcast as long as you mix it good.

  4. Wild goose breast meat...after an overnight soak in V-8...can be sliced and fried...chunked for stew...or ground for burger or sausage. Suggestion: If you do not plan to eat them ... do not shoot them!

  6. That's a bit uncalled for. No need to push your belief system onto him. If he's genuinely happy, which I believe he is, with a 6 point, then so be it. He hasn't even taken a buck with an Xbow yet. While I myself now tend to target older class bucks compared to the masses, I equally share in the belief that those who have a wider target range has just as much to say about what they want to shoot. You don't educate anyone when you use the term dink and put other hunters down. C'mon, you should know better than that.

  9. well that's better news than what I thought you were gonna say. I thought this was going to end by the bow shop calling you and saying that something is wrong with the bow and its basically trash

  11. If he's happy...that is all that matters. I don't think anyone would genuinely disagree he'd be happy with one of these bucks. Something is still amiss biz...even in the most skewed ratios there's a 2.5 mixed in... you seem to have no clear 2.5 yo bucks. You are missing something or that property is missing something to the point experienced deer are not crossing.

  19. I don't disagree with what you say Doc, but when all of the legal and political resources are exhausted and we have been trashed, what will you do? Toss in the towel on top of your pile of confiscated guns, or fight whatever way you are left to fight? When they start taking away the guns, it's gonna get ugly. When Patrick Henry said, "Give me liberty, or give me death", he was given death, but he died an honorable death ONCE. Cowards (and sheep) die a thousand deaths over their lifetimes. If we lose this fight in the end, we have nothing left to lose! Then you can either fight, or become a slave.

  21. Working at a top fortune 500 company doesn't really mean anything. Not saying anything about anyone. Just saying you can't really use that as an argument. I've meet some pretty dim people who are in big companies simply because they know a few people and I've meet some really intelligent people working in small boutique firms and startups. Just saying. I've had the privilege of sharing a couple of beers with a fine individual who graduated from one of the top high schools in the country, then graduated from Harvard, went on to serve in the Army in Iraq, then came back to startup his own not-for-profit group. Far from a fortune 500 company but one of the smartest guys you'll meet.

  22. I, for one, like seeing the does. Chances are that is their "home" area and eventually the bucks will be in the same area looking for receptive does. In my years of bow hunting I've always "hunted" the does and have had good success taking bucks in the doe areas. I wouldn't worry about not seeing bucks on film.

  23. A few years back I did not have a single buck on camera on a 2000 acre property until Nov 2. I shot 2 120 class 8s that year and sough some bigger ones, so I do not panic anymore when I am only getting pictures of does like I am right now..............

  26. The man is in the second half of his term-limited tenure. He no longer has to worry about re-election. The only check that we ever had on him is past. He is free to run amok with impunity. And he seems to have the personality to take full advantage of that situation.

  27. The worst part about it for me is getting rid of the parts; legs, head, rib cage etc. it's getting easier since we got the big blue garbage totes though. One time years ago I had a bloody stump poke out of a garbage bag. The two garbage men freaked and called the cops, they thought I whacked my wife.............

  36. geez, just read the last 2 pages. I certainly can get on people's nerves. This I know, but it's mostly due to differing opinions on hunting. Shawn just seems to be a genuine troll pissing people off for things not even related to hunting. wtf dude?
