  1. How dirty it gets depends on what you are burning, well seasoned hardwood burned hot does not leave much residue, unseasoned wood and soft wood like pine will have a creosote build up, the main cause of chimney fires. To do a good job it has to be cleaned from the top down. Al

  10. We didn't border the river but it was at the base of Morton Hill road. We would drive the Trike (lol) down there and fish. First time I taught my girlfriend to fly fish she catches a big brook trout! Yes it is beautiful. They were hit hard with the rain last week. Talked to a work crew cleaning up downed trees and such.

  11. It is interesting when you live long enough to see those kinds of changes. I am 80 years old an my memories are constantly bombarded with those kinds of time related changes. So many of my favorite hunting areas around Naples are now homesites. Up on the hill behind my house there used to be a wide open field where a neighbor grew a wheat crop that I can remember. Now it is choked with tall maples and no more open areas. The big ice storm that we had rearranged everything on the hill. Deer trails and all feeding areas moved around. Many of the old family farms have become new 5 and 10 acre housing areas or completely posted up by anti-hunting owners. You are right, "Time sure marches on and waits for no one".
