  1. There are good points made on both sides on this issue. Some girls DO do it sooner than others and some girls do wait for later on in life. Both girls and boys have hormones. Some can keep them in check and others can't which is why we hear about so many teen pregnancies. My wife and I teach our daughter to respect herself and seriously think about whether she wants to give it up to a particular guy while emphasizing the consequences of doing it at a young age including pregnancy, diseases and the like and hope that our values have sunk in enough that she waits a bit longer. The T-shirt and gun toting/displaying will deter some guys from going the extra step but not all. We can only do so much to guide our kids boys and girls alike to make the right choices in life.

  4. just to chime in, the girls who hold off and WAIT, fall into a very small percentile... this is the truth remember when you guys were younger, the stories you had growing up in your early teens? well, those girls were daughters of some father who may have thought their girl was such an innocent one. AND THAT WAS BACK THEN... now ITS WORSE these girls who maybe 16, 17, 18 LOOK like they are mid 20s now, its scary, because for the most part they even act like they are in their 20s. i have my own stories but those are locked in memory bank to stay but i can tell you, the quite innocent ones sometimes scare me how they act behind closed doors and this was years ago, i cant even imagine how far its come since then. being a harda** with your daughter only gives her MORE reason to be more rebellious to her parents and more curious in exploring herself. Im not saying all girls are overly sexually active and at early ages but i know the things i have done and seen and ill tell you some of their fathers were harda**es and thought they were keeping their daughters from the boys but in reality, they pushed them there without knowing it.... on a topic note: nice shirt, very funny but dont think that will scare the boys away, it will put the thought in their head for sure but the girls are the ones who usually find away around that.

  5. Just had to log back in for this thread! We all want the best for our kids, and hope they don't do anything too foolish, but some of you live in LaLa land on this issue as you do on many other issues around here. I will take Biz-R-O's side here. You guys can flash all the guns you want to your daughters boyfriend and wear all the silly T-shirts listing the rules you want. If your daughter wants to get it on with her boyfriend, she will, and you old goats being their daddy's will be the very LAST person to find out about it. Even the nice girls DO do it sooner or later, so thinking that your daughters is some sort of virgin Mary is ridiculous. Have a good day, boys!

  6. It is 2013 but virtues still lives in this day and age though not as prevalent. My oldest niece is in that stage where she's trying to discovery herself and the world and "thinks" she's mature enough and knows enough to go out there on her own. Basically what most young adults think. She recently started dating and it's definitely got me and my brother stressed. (Her mom left when she was younger and my older bro is a bit of a slacker so me and my parent do some of the raising) Two weeks ago she stayed out later than her curfew to attend some party with her boyfriend. And yes, I threaten physical harm on that boy. The funny thing about it was that the boy didn't do anything wrong. I knew it was my niece who wanted to stay out late. But I couldn't hurt her. So instead, we only yelled and grounded her but we threaten physical harm on the boy. Oddly enough, the irony is that when I was her age, my parents let me stay out with a girl much later. They always figured I could handle myself. If I was intimate with a girl, they simply demanded that I act responsibly, made sure I didn't get her pregnant, and be respectful to her. Yet my niece will get chained to her bedroom if she did even half the things I was allowed to do as a boy. Truth is though, just like when I was her age, she too has desires and curiosities. Just like how I had some dream girl in high school that I really wanted to kiss and make out with, I'm sure she has some dream guy in high school she really wants to kiss and make out with. Yet, what stop me was because I wasn't smooth enough but what's stopping her is the social stigma of being easy and the knuckles on my right fist. We teach her every day that being a woman doesn't make her any less than a man that she should never feel that she deserves less yet when it comes to her own sexuality, we as a society completely strip her of her rights. Is that fair. No it's not fair. Did we ground her and take away her cell phone anyway? Of course we did. Because I watch her grow up, it's really hard for me to imagine her other than a little girl. It's tough to accept but I would be a fool to think that she doesn't look at certain guys a certain way. Let's just say I'm glad I'm having a boy instead.

  10. Jeremy, a lot of these old fogies that are calling others names such as "junior", have double standards and are quite the hypocrite. I'm trying to understand as well, but that seems to be the only explanation. Geno is right, the shit I did as a teen and the virgins that were de-virginized, well, lets just say I know what to look out for with my daughter now. You dads truly are clueless if you think daddy's little girl is innocent and pure.

  11. I'm trying to understand why its OK to assume all young men are trouble and treat them so by waving guns in their face and threatening any and all that come around but when it comes to girls then we have to pick and choose which ones to criticize.

  17. I really have no idea on which girls turn out which way but i remember not to long ago seeing cars with all girls pulling up to the neighbors house to buy weed , they didnt need any boys to corrupt them , im not saying they were up to no good but girls are just as brave as boys are these days.

  18. let us know when you're done going through your retarded stage........oh, and some stay in that phase longer than others, you sound like you may be one.

  19. No kids yet. But the fact is that every pretty girl goes through a slutty phase, some stay in the phase longer than others. If you have a dorky daughter she won't be a sloot, but she will have self esteem issues because she's not pretty. Hopefully, I have boys. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
