I have a Belgium 12G have had it since 1986 my first 12G just redid the stock. I used to shoot birds with it but once steel became the law I put it up as a safe queen. Not sure what it's worth but wouldn't ever sell mine.

I made spicy chicken fingers. Didn't take a pic. Have leftover tomato sauce and sausage slow cooked in the crock pot ( don't have a pic of that either ), wanted to have tomorrows dinner done tonight, so I can deal with the shoveling issues for the next couple days.

At the very least, they should exempt first time hunters. We seem to stick our head in the sand that new hunters = young hunters. But the whole thing isn't a smart move either.

This is a surprise area...Only in the fact I do not know what they are eating this time of year...The newly tilled plot failed last year. First the turnips then the WR I put over it..yet this is my busiest cam right now. It is usually the busiest during season but there was a favored wild grass growing there, now it's mainly moss . Old reliable stand is in the upper left side. Over the years I've taken 7 buck and at least 16 doe out of that stand. It's getting a constant line of deer and fox walking through... I see a lot of dark tarsals in that little group....Hope they like what I plant this year...several shading trees are coming down and a whole lot of lime is getting spread.

Saw this a long time ago. It is interesting but to say it changed a river is simply wrong. More of an idea that if you kill wolves you will harm the landscape so do not hunt them. Our PETA friends at work trying to deter hunting. 6 years for aspen and cotton woods to triple in length due to stopping animals from browsing? Far fetched unless they are saplings. Notice they do not show any actual change, if it was so evident where are the pictures of how changed the landscape is now? JMO!

I last visited this thread on Tuesday and it's almost doubled in size. I bet I can point to at least 6 other lengthy threads on the same subject. kind of funny really.

As I have said many times before I don't shoot small bucks. I have before and most likely won't ever again. I cherish the memories of the spike 3 and 4 that I killed before I started not shooting small bucks just as much as my biggest bucks. How in the hell can I support something that takes the ability to do something that I enjoyed so much away from someone else for my personal gains? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Only other thing I could think of was if you have those quick spin fletchings. They have a pretty sharp angle and make the arrow really spin but at 20 yards plus I would think the spin is just really getting started. That heavy spin might have an adverse affect on the blades as they enter spinning so fast that once they deploy the side presser on the blade is too much and causes a brake? Just a theory but if you shoot standard fletching at minimal angle offset this would have little effect at short distance as the arrow is just starting its spin at 20 yards.
