Happens to me all the time with the Rages. That's why I use Montec G5's when hiking/stalking. Once I get to my spot and comfortably settled in is when I switch over to the Rage.

I have a Belgium 12G have had it since 1986 my first 12G just redid the stock. I used to shoot birds with it but once steel became the law I put it up as a safe queen. Not sure what it's worth but wouldn't ever sell mine.

I made spicy chicken fingers. Didn't take a pic. Have leftover tomato sauce and sausage slow cooked in the crock pot ( don't have a pic of that either ), wanted to have tomorrows dinner done tonight, so I can deal with the shoveling issues for the next couple days.

Rattler you nailed it on the head. Thst is as bad as the Iowa high school kids that wore red, white, and blue colors to the basketball game being called racist and made to apologize to the other principal and school students because there were some refugees in that school. If they don't like the red, white. And blue, go back to your country and fight for what you feel is right. Sent from my SM-G900T3 using Tapatalk

At the very least, they should exempt first time hunters. We seem to stick our head in the sand that new hunters = young hunters. But the whole thing isn't a smart move either.

SNOW DAY! I know I am opening up myself up to all that crap about unions, tenure, retirement, summers off, yadda, yadda , yadda! However, teaching still offers that one opportunity to turn me back into the a school kid finding out we have been blessed with an unexpected day off! Be saw out there if you are working tomorrow-I will be home (grading papers) but in my pjs at least!

OK! So, what's your "Perfect America"? We all have opinions, some of them very abrasive. C'mon! Own how you feel and own up to the fact that racism has gone bat shit crazy! It's not about religion anymore! If I have to explain what it's about, then maybe you need to move to Canada.

For me the main reason I use Rage is due to shooting so often. I want that field tip to match my broadhead with minimal if any tuning. Simply put the rage does that for me. I have never found a fixed blade that shoots the same as my field tips until I tried the Rage. For me personally it give me the confidence I need to put that arrow on the hair I pick. If I had problems with anything I use I would change it. Release, broadhead, bow, string, bullets, clothes, scent etc. That confidence is what we all need so get everything how YOU like it, not how others think you should do it! For me the confidence is having a consistently shooting bow regardless if I am shooting field tips or broadheads. Find it hard to retune every week to shoot field tips then reset for hunting even if you mark it.

Good replys and I respect them all. Sometimes though- you do need a box that carries a long distance and that is what I was touching on. I do have the Gaskins Scratch box and am quite good with it. For clucks and purrs- they are tops. My fav scratch box is the CEDAR HILL Game calls-- little scratch box--100% cedar. I will say that all Spring turkey hunters have different views on callers and how each hunter likes to hunt. Loud box callers are not shock calls-- they have a place in your vest. I call both loud and very softly-- remember each day and each gobbler is different. As novices climb the learning curve of Spring turkey hunting-- some will learn that and my post was for novices. I do know there are many turkey hunting masters on this site who differ with my views and that is fine.

I don't know how old you are...young enough to traverse the wall of Letchworth, I'll assume not too old. Me ,this year I start pushing my way to 60...older but not old. I do know many older gentleman and some gals that are older hunters...some with failing health...They go through what can be an extreme effort to hit the woods and I can tell you they could give a damn about deer size...They just want to say they shot a deer that year and they enjoyed eating it. If you throw the old doe thing at me, I just may puke...I should have proven that it's not always easy to get a doe to show in day light...and I hunt more than most. So some of these older people may have that one single opportunity and it could be a 4 or 6 pt...They deserve that opportunity. See you(general term) younger chest beat bucks that need bragging rights...well most of you have a good many years left to make that choice...If that is what you want, go for it...you obviously don't need a law to force you to wait. Oh I forgot in" today's world", your not suppose to wait, you should be able to have a big buck behind every other tree. That's what will make them so much more special to shoot....Like picking the biggest apple in the bin..So many big apples in that bin, all very tasty and bright...You just needed to pick and choose the very biggest... Yes my sarcasm is back

Get away from people. The further you go in the better your chances. The last 3 years I have killed bucks that were aged at over 5 1/2 and the closest to the road was 1 1/2 mile from a dead end me dirt road that is over 10miles of the paved road. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
