  1. Taco Sunday. Didn't get a pic of all the fixins - lettuce, onion, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, refried beans, salsa, hot sauce - because we were too hungry. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

  7. Haley sighted in her rifle today. There’s a 2 shot group on the right of the bullseye and a 3 shot group to the left. She’s running Hornady American Whitetail 139gr. Should be just fine for hunting. Pics taken shooting at 50, groups shot at 100.

  27. I don’t have a pic, but the total was less than a 10’ x 6’ plot. I space the cloves about 6” apart and 3” deep in 2 close rows about 8” apart. Then I space the next row about 18” apart so I can easily weed. Plant the cloves in early October.

  30. I've had the Summit Viper for quite a few years now. Though I don't use it much anymore, it's still a very good option, for setting up on hot sign, right away. Also agree, that it's a very comfortable stand! Sometimes too comfortable! ........zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

  33. you got a great deal! I got the same stand and its more comfy than any ladder stand I have ever had. I suggest getting those third hand archery straps. they connect the platform to the seat piece and make the stand feel rock solid while up in a tree. also the Sherpa game cart is a game changer. quickly and easily convert your stand in to a game cart for hauling out your deer. good luck with it!

  37. If you reload or know someone who does, use a bullet puller to make the round inert. Spray the inside of the cartridge with WD40 to soak the primer. You can use the powder, as fertilizer for your garden! Toss the rest in the trash or recycle bin.

  38. I would second the suggestion of a small 12’ aluminum boat, provided you have a pickup to haul it in. That opens up the possibility of a second person fishing with you, and will be a lot safer and easier if you have little fishermen or women in your future.

  39. In my opinion, the canoe is the easy choice for a versatile fishing craft. I have an 12 Old Town "Still water" model which weighs 56lbs and is a bit wider in the middle than most canoes and stable enough to stand up and fish in calm water. Although they no longer make the still water, there are similar ones out there. One of the best purchases I ever made for sure. I can load it easily by myself for solo trips, it has plenty of room for gear and we've even loaded it up with camping gear and paddled out on Adirondack lakes to camp and fish a few days. Very comfortable with two people on a fishing trip. You can have a big cooler, minnow bucket, anchor, tackle boxes with room to spare. You can add rod holders and a folding chair to your canoe and have a really comfortable fishing rig. When I paddle alone, I just sit in the front seat facing toward what is the back of the canoe, as the front seat is more centered and stable for one. It's great for Adirondack lakes or drifting slow moving streams and rivers. Those fishing kayaks look nice but I think I'd feel too confined and limited on gear.

  40. My wife and I fished out of a canoe for a lot of years, but the years that have passed have left both of us in a situation where neither of us can sit in the same position for too many hours (minutes) before it starts getting damn uncomfortable. That is a function of age, and may be something you have to throw into the selection formula now or a few years from now.

  41. He said it was peppers behind the canned spring water aka "seltzer"...it was spicy little peppers in the shape/size of kidney beans. The oils it were marinating in, was seasoned, and very spicy. I can handle very spicy, and these were hot, but had a nice taste, i added them to our homemade guacamole. I have never seen such small peppers. The others were indeed a banana pepper.

  42. It’s not of the three you listed, but I have a 12’ aluminum row boat with ores and a trolling motor. Plenty of room for gear and kids. My small trailer tows easy, and it’s pretty easy to launch. For not so easy areas with only hand launches, I built a wooden dolly to “wheel” the boat to the water. But of the three you mentioned the Bantam would be my vote. You have room for another person, gear, and the option to stand up from time to time is a big deal. Canoes and kayaks are great, but damn I’d be stiff and sore for a day or three after being confined to that sitting position for a few hours.

  48. Couldn't find some I was looking for tonight. Passed on kbs. Just not a coffee person. Ended up with some eviltwin lost souls from the fridge. Has a hoppy base that brings tropical fruit (lime, mango, and otherz) to the front. You're left with hoppiness and carbonation. Not big on carbonated bevs so maybe if left in the fridge it'll tone it down a little. Otherwise it was good. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
