Giving my first NYS Hunter Education Class tomorrow. Going over tonight to get set up. I'm a little nervous, hope I'm not too boring! I took mine 45 years ago. My old social studies teacher, Ernie Ecker was a hoot! A great guy and gave a course I still remember. This is a chance for me to give back, to something I've loved all my life.7 points

Yes, the server was down. Will explain more later, on the train now. In short the dedicated server I rent had the motherboard die on it, it's restored right now and running on a temp server while the other one is repaired. Was not fun but at least it's up.7 points

Can't believe this isn't barrel-aged, but it carries a 'Best By' date of 7/1/25 so I'm going to cellar some. Good stuff, Cheers!4 points

Within 4 days of planting, my wheat plot was germinating.... I checked it two days ago....Lush, green and solid....Looks great...Guess planting when damp was not a problem !!1 point

I hunt almost exclusively from brush blinds. Some examples. So many times, had deer close enough to touch. Nothing beats being eye to eye with em.1 point

did you try it if they still stick do it again just remember a lite coat of oil let them cool in the oven then wipe them out do it again you'll see they wont stick they'll even be cindy proof[ my wife]1 point

I prefer rifle but hunting public land and spending way too many frozen days without seeing anything, I prefer bow hunting white tails. Much more of an adrenaline rush and more often. And with that, small game hunting with a 22 is tops for me. I get the rifle, and while not as much of a rush as bow hunting deer, I get a good amount of enjoyment out of it.1 point

Larry.... I had the same kind of practice round yesterday also... hit the bull at 25yds then after that it wasn't great. But, the first shot was perfect and would have been a clean kill1 point
