  1. Found this truck in towanda p.a. so my wife and I drove down last night to check it out. It’s a 2014 (last year for the steel body that I prefer) 2 door standard cab with the 5.0 coyote engine ( that I prefer over the turbo 6’s) , 3.73 gears , 4 by 4 , 6.5 ft box with the STX appearance package. and 23,800 original miles . This thing hauls the mail, with the 5.0 and 3.73’s I got on it and had to let off as the rear tires broke loose instantly . Come to find out a older gentleman ordered it this way new , so after giving it a thorough inspection it is a very very clean 5 yr old truck .The dealer is waiting on the title and we are squaring away the paper work so hopefully we can pick it up Saturday. All hinges on if they get the title Friday if not then we will be getting it Tuesday of next week. And the best part , I got it for a very good deal..

  9. Well we made it! Spring officially begins tomorrow! I'm really looking forward to all the warmer weather activities. I know it's spring when my famous mouse eating chipmunk friend Petey comes to visit, and looks for peanuts.

A bit later we ran into each other in another else, one asked ,” I don’t suppose you know where the pop corn is too ?” I relied , “ there’s plenty at my house !” The rest you can read in Penthouse Forums.....

  17. Getting rid of all "hunting" stuff in 125 stores. Will probably kill Field & Stream altogether. An enemy of the American people, please don't spend a dime there. 18. Here's me at Dunkin. Can I get a large coffee with some vanilla creamer? We don't have vanilla creamer but I can give you a coffee with a vanilla shot and cream. What's a vanilla shot? Its vanilla flavoring that goes into the coffee. Like creamer? No sir it's not creamer it's flavoring, and we can add cream. Does it have sugar? No you would also need to add sugar sir. Well do have other flavored creamers? No sir we only have flavor shots and cream and sugar Well wouldn't it be easier to have it all in one?.... (As the line gets longer...) See where I'm going here....can't stand Dunkin. Lol. And yeah it's them and not me! What coffee place dont have flavored creamers......cmon.

  19. Good grab! I’ve got a 13 F150 super cab with the 5.0 motor and even weighing in at 2 tons that thing still moves! I just clicked over 97,000 miles and it just left me stranded in a parking lot. $75 dollars (fuel pump modulator) and 20 min later I was back up and running. I would have them check on a recent recall for a transmission fix. And if it’s required for your truck have them do it before leaving the dealership. The recall just came out March 4th Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  29. It's a crummy phone pic through my dirty windshield that I took on the way home last night, but this is a field that I border two sides of. It was corn that was cut in December. 61 deer in that larger field and more on the other side of the hedgerow. Went a little past the house to look at another field and saw 32 more. 93 total within a half mile of the house (and I didn't count those to the right of the hedgerow). Our tower stand is in the hedgerow. It's amazing that the land can support so many! And all the deer I've seen up close look very healthy this year.

  31. Update: had a visit with my prosthetist’s office this afternoon. Today was the second step of a new arm build. In the previous post, I posted a few pics of my arm in a casting material, which as said gives them an actual 3D diagram of my arm for the use in constructing the socket. Today I was there to test fit the first rough draft socket, that they made from plastic. What happens is, they filled that last casting up with a solidifying liquid of some sort, then as it hardens they insert s metal rod. After that, the casting is cut off the hardened liquid that it was filled with....so NOW they have a perfect replica of my real arm, except it had a post sticking out of it, pretty much a lollipop. You follow? Now, they take a sheet of flat plastic, and heat it up, and drape it over the arm “lollipop”, that is being held by a bench vise....the plastic is than molded, and vacuum formed over the replica of my arm. They then cut, and file, etc to the correct shapes, and edges as you will soon see in pics below. Now that you have a general idea of how it’s made, today I was there to try it on, and wear it. The prosthetist trimmed the lips/edges accordingly until my arm fit in properly at the mouth. Once I was able to fully insert my arm, the prosthetist would check for loose areas, and remove the socket, hear it up with a small torch, and bend the socket inward for a more snug of a fit. That was the general idea of this step in building an arm. I go back in a couple weeks, and he will have the final socket done if I understood correctly. The interior electrical components have been ordered, as well, and it sounds as if this arm will be made from carbon fiber. The great news about this socket, is that I can bend my elbow COMPLETELY, I have full range of motion! That is VERY exciting, I have NEVER had full range of motion in any prosthetic arm ever. I have always used liners to hold the arm on, which bunch up as you bend your elbow. This is not at all new socket technology, but this prosthetist is new, and he has 20 yrs of experience in Brooklyn, and he brings a lot of value. With this new arm, I should be able to use the prosthesis to eat/drink directly from, and not use my sound hand! Big steps today

  35. Ugh.. My #1 pet peeve, cost of cable TV and guessing satellite providers are about the same. Did my cable cutting about a year ago and reduced my TV viewing bill from Spectrum's std service (~$110/mo) to Sling plus one add-on (~$30/mo). Unfortunately still stuck with Spectrum's absorbent std internet fee of ~$65/mo, less any equipment rental. Have to admit cutting the cord was super intimidating at first for this old fart. Once you do it, it's not that overwhelming... so I say now! Almost all the streaming providers have at least a 7 day free trial and w/o any contract. Lots of info available about DIY or how-to do cable cutting.and reviews of services and equipment. Once you wade in and get your feet wet, there's a ton of streaming services available. FYI - There is NO best service for every one! Depends on your budget, viewing preferences, ease of use, etc...

  41. “Omar wears the hijab, which according to the Quran 33:59, tells women to cover so they won’t get molested,” Pirro said March 10. “Is her adherence to this Islamic doctrine indicative of her adherence to Sharia law, which in itself is antithetical to the United States Constitution?” Verse (33:59) O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful From the pissing and moaning I am hearing about what she said it apparent;y is becasue of what I posted above. Which part is prejudice? Or was there another comment that set everyone off?

  42. Yes, that simple. The inclusion issue is completely different than amending regulations that already exist. They have to reclassify what a crossbow is according to the law before it can be added to archery season.

  44. Yes!!!! The Founder of the beer thread has yet again started another beverage based discussion!!! I’ve run the gamete of coffee makers and have now really enjoy my Faberware Percolator with Folgers coffee. It’s actually my parents coffee pot that they gave me after they went to Mr Coffees years and years ago. Skim milk or black - two 12 oz cups in the morning and rarely will I have an afternoon cup. I try to tell myself well they’re strong and sixteen oz and it’s only four bucks a can, less then a bar . Then I walk past Sip o Sunshine and grab a $1.29 Genny .

  49. Walked two properties and a little over 4 miles this afternoon. Picked up two good left sides and a small chewed up spike. Knew one buck well and had lots of pictures. Never seen the big 8 before but he’s a stud. 11” g2s and 23” beams. I also saw no less than four bucks with full racks and one with a half rack. It seems like they are holding later this year. I’m probably going to wait at least a week or two before I go out again. Definitely would be nice to find the matching sides for these two. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
