I'm watching the grandchildren, ages 6 and 1, while she's at the hospital every day. Scares the crap out of me. Today she sends me this.....25 points

Think of this as a public service ad, I am not posting this looking for accolades, please don’t bother. I just feel the need to get this out to people after the last couple days. I am a Respiratory Therapist, I run the highly sought after ventilator.. I volunteered to come to NYC for two weeks to help out , working in a hospital that’s part of the system I work for in Buffalo. In 30 years of working with sick patients I have never seen so many people be so sick. Not just old and infirm, some young and strong, it does not matter. This thing is real, not hype, not fake news. It is not worth taking chances with. Please, follow the recommendations, don’t help spread this. I know being home and bored sucks, trust me there’s things that suck a lot more if this beast gets a good hold on you. Stay safe. Stay out of ICU.14 points

The crowds on the rainbow streams are not my cup of tea.. My partner and I fished 3 streams today and never saw another fisherman OR a boot track..Between us we caught 8 wild ( or perhaps holdovers that ran up from the main stream) browns from 10 to 16 inches...7 points

This is a joke right? Remember what happened with Trumps proposed travel ban back in January? He attempted to get ahead of it and got called a racist. Then he tried down playing it then the left says he’s responsible for the deaths. I’m not defending the guy he’s far from my favorite president but I think he’s doing a very good job with what he has to deal with! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk6 points

I find it wholly offensive, self-serving and irresponsible for any politician to point fingers at the administration in a time like this. This is an unprecedented situation and everyone is doing the best that they can under the circumstances. I wonder if Congress would have passed legislation during the last 10 years approving the provision of tens of thousands of respirators and PPE in the event of a future need? I seriously doubt it. We as a society have been blessed in the past with not having to worry about something like this because it was not reasonably foreseeable. Our society has evolved into live for today and make sure there are enough handouts to satisfy the current needs and "entitlements" In the past, those who worried about days like these were labeled doomsday freaks. It is time everyone stops the bullsh--t, prays for each other and most importantly, abide by the simple guidelines available to us in the hopes of protecting themselves and each other. Unfortunately, our free society lends itself to selfish behavior at the expense of others.5 points

It wouldn’t even be close! They would be churching up how good of a job they were doing if they were doing the exact same things Trump has done. As a “Democrat” I can honestly say that the media was the driving force that drove me from my party. Honestly that’s the biggest problem I have with anyone on the left. If they aren’t smart enough to realize they are being played then there is no help for them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk4 points

I'm curious if there was a Democrat in the White House how much the media coverage would change ,everyday would be an announcement about how the president did this or that to help so and so and fight the spread of the virus. You can't convince me the coverage would be the same . I'm thankful I have the ability in my brain to not just accept what the media spit out.4 points

Never sold any. Got quite a few now that have not been out for a long time. But I've given a few away to young or new hunters over the years. Most recently, my Savage Axis in 7mm\08 with Leopold glass, that went to my grandson. Killed my first rifle buck with it. But it means much more to him than me. It's an inexpensive rifle that shoots great. And you'd think it was made of gold to him.4 points

K.I.S.S. I have only used one scope on a turkey gun, which is a 1x4 x 20MM Leupold but there has never been any issue, and I nearly always leave it at 1X.. I shot a Weaver K 1.5x and a K 2.5X on several rifles and shotguns for deer, and never had an issue.. All had standard crosshairs and all were clear and bright under low light conditions.. Another good quality on a low power scope is most have ample eye relief, which is important with a magnum shotgun under field conditions..3 points

Just spoke to my niece last night whose an nurse in the Bronx. She said the worst part is the fear on patients’ faces and their feeling of being alone without family visitors. She got reprimanded last night for holding some lady’s hand as she took her last breath. She’s got a little Brooklyn attitude in her and said to her superior, “So fire me!” and walked away to deal with the next patient. She also lives alone and can’t visit her family since she’s neck deep in this...real tough at work and at home alone for her and all health care workers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk3 points

HOW MORAL ARE YOU? This takes less than one minute and is incredibly accurate...well worth the little bit of effort I promise. This test has only one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer you will discover where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely and completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Only you will know the results, so remember that your answer needs to be honest. THE SITUATION: You are in Miami with chaos all around you caused by a hurricane. There is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury. THE TEST: Suddenly you see a woman in the water She is fighting for her life trying not to be taken down with the debris. Your move closer. Somehow the woman looks like... Good Heavens it's Nancy Pelosi. At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take her under forever. YOU HAVE TWO OPTIONS: You can save the life of Nancy Pelosi OR you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the last minutes of one of the world's most powerful women hell-bent on the destruction of the USA. THE QUESTION: Here's the question and please give an honest answer: Would you: A) select high contrast color film, or... go with the classic simplicity of black and white Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk3 points

Not exactly my lawn but I plan on drinking a good amount of beer from my new patio. My brother in law banged this out in a couple days. Buying a new house, then having my wife work from home is doing damage to my bank account but it is keeping us busy. My lawn is in the background so I hope this counts.3 points

Blackened salmon with ground mustard. My wife said this was brocolli bake but it's more like baked cheese with a tad of broccoli. Not as healthy as I wanted but pretty darn good. Salted capers on top, I had to add that.3 points

I had my first ever gun stolen out of the trunk of my car the day before opening day. A 20ga Remmy 870. It was the first gun I had taken a deer with. Sure do wish I still had it. Other than that I’ve never sold a gun. Not that I have a lot but I’ve never seen the point. I figured I’d need them all soon or later. I hung onto a 30-.06 even though I didn’t have a need for it until this year probably 12 or so years after I won it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points
