I THINK I'M GETTING SETUP.lol So i got a text message from my wife this morning saying one of her good friends husband just bought a elite valor. She said it made her upset that since he's only been hunting for 2 years and I've been for 20 i should have a nice bow for once.(mind you i dont care what he shoots and not sure why she cares but won't argue with her about it). Not sure if I just got setup but she gave me the green light to go buy one as long as it doesn't break the bank. So I'll be going Thursday to a local shop in Morris to shoot what he's got and probably place an order through my sister and just have him set it up. I'll be looking at the valor,ember and ritual 33. I'll also be looking at the 50-60 lb range. Any extra info would be great. Thanks

Was at the cabin with my brother last week Wed-Sun. He got the bug in him to fix the old trail mower we have. Two new tires and took apart the carb to clean it out. Got it all back together and it ran great. Then wouldn't start. There was a safety switch that we jumped that needed fixing. After that it was all down hill!! He mowed the swail on our property. Its protected by 4 sides of woods. Came out great and had a good time.

Hello All, Last week I met with a client who had a woodlot owner's worst nightmare.

I will be 79 this coming Bow Season so I can't be too choosy . Spikes are out . Would like to shoot a couple of healthy does . Just getting out there is a feat !

We refer to those as pistol targets in my boat.

BTW....I just wanted to mention to NYTRACKER and CRAPPYICE, that those are STRIKE INDICATORS on our lines, not <<cringe>> bobbers....Tacks, Otto and I are much too accomplished fisherman to revert to using bobbers...

The problem with pulled pork in a crockpot is you have no nice bark on the outside of the meat. Thats the best part.

After reading all this, I may be making one change....I always let bucks of similar or less caliber (compared to what I have already taken) get a pass. On more than one occasion, I have felt regret at letting them walk. Maybe I will do like @wolc123 and take an any buck goes after the midpoint attitude. Every year say, “I am going to be less selective this season.”, only to find myself making the same decisions. I need the help of my forum brothers....I need deer counseling, lol.

Governor Andrew Cuomo is complaining that President Donald Trump should sign an executive order mandating everyone in America wear a mask. So Cuomo, the real question is why are you not enforcing your mandate to wear a mask especially all those protesters?

The front page of the June 29, 2020 edition of the New York Post states “CITY OUT OF CONTROL”, “Bottles hurled at police in Harlem”, “11 shot in less than 12 hours” and “Top cop: Officers confused right now”. What do you expect from a government that is sympathetic to anarchists and scream psychotic rants like “YOU DON’T NEED TEN BULLETS TO KILL A DEER!”. Who is really in charge of the asylum? So if the “CITY OUT OF CONTROL”, where is the National Guard to restore order? What is Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill DiBlasio doing? It is not Cuomo’s and DiBlasio’s responsibility to maintain order or did they leave some anarchist is charge? “Bottles hurled at police in Harlem” by those social justice and peace loving people? And they wonder why some in law enforcement are suspicious of these “people”. “11 shot in less than 12 hours” is more proof the SAFE Act, NYC gun registrations and all the other gun control nonsense does not work. Cuomo and DiBlasio need to go back to the “how do we control violent crime” drawing board. Still sooner or later Cuomo and his gun control advocates will be seeking more gun control laws that will NOT fix the problem. “Top cop: Officers confused right now”. Maybe they are confused because the anarchists want to defund the police, assault them and even kill them. If I were a police officer I would not be confused, I would be acting like I was in the combat zone, watching out for my buddies and me! The long, hot summer continues.
