These pics are from last year I believe it's the same buck and he was close to this size in 2018 but without the kicker. I had him.at 20 yards last year but I filled my buck tag on a 4pt a few hours before.8 points

This is only my 3rd season putting out trail cams. This is my first card pull for the year and I'm pretty sure this is the same buck over gotten on cam for three past 3 years. These pictures are full 3 weeks ago.7 points

@Engraver99 Here is the dashcam that I have been using since January of 2019. It is not expensive, and most likely an entry level grade camera. However, it has treated me well, and has always let me retrieve footage that I wanted to see. Brand named “Apeman” on Amazon....c450 model i believe. Under $50. Very clear, simple to use... it has parking lot monitoring with shock sensors, screensaver, loop recording options. Lot ls of features. I have had it a few months, and I do like it. Does not feel like a $50 unit. Oh, the windshield mount is very sturdy, and stays put too. it auto records, knows when you are moving, etc, jump in vehicle and go...has a screen with playback buttons, and it has a micro SD card. I believe the micro SD card max GB size a 32GB. I would purchase again.4 points

I had a Bausch and Lomb made Bushnell Elite shotgun scope that I got at a very good discount at the plant here, thought I still had it, looks like I don’t . I do have a Nikon 3x9 BDC rifle scope sitting around , with rings . If you think you can make this work , I’d ship it to, you for $50 ? It came off my daughters rifle after she got scoped , ( not responsible for blood ) . She now uses a red dot, which at about 75 yards covers a LOT of the target ,something to keep in mind if you go that route .3 points

The old Weaver's could certainly take a licking and keep ticking. I used one on my hardest kicking gun (my grandad's old 6 pound Ithaca 16 gauge featherlight model 37) to take my first buck 35 years ago and my last doe last season. It is a fixed 1.5 power and still holds a good zero.2 points

That is the same reticle that was on the Bushnell Banner 3X that was on my Marlin 512 slugmaster. It worked very good for me until 2018, when I could see two bulls-eyes at 100 yards when sighting it in. I moved in to the 50 yard bench, where it was just one slightly fuzzy bull, to check my zero that year. I had killed quite a few antlerless deer with that combo, over a 15 year stretch, but I did not take a shot at an antlered buck with it until 2018. I hit that one (3) times, the first slug passing thru slightly behind center, just below the spine and the second passing thru the spine about 2" above the first. Both shots were about 24" to the left of my intended point of aim (his front shoulder). A third "finisher" to the neck from point-blank range was required. Later that season, I missed a doe clean with the gun, so that was it for the scope. I had also dropped it in a swamp, while dragging out the buck carcass, which likely aggravated the situation. Prior to that year, I was very happy with the Bushnell Banner, and it seemed tough. One time I dropped the gun about 15 feet, from my tallest tree-stand, onto the frozen ground. That sheared the scope base mounting bolts clean off. I drilled out the threads and re-tapped the next larger size, re-attached the scope and larger base mounting bolts, and got a few more deer out of it prior to 2018. My longest kill with it was a big doe at 163 yards.1 point

So some of what you have said is just not exactly true, yes testing more means we will find more cases the big issue is that the % of tests coming back positive is going up in the hot spots. That proves that more testing is not the reason for more cases. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

That is one BIG bear! It looks the size of one I saw recently someplace online a week ago or so from a campsite. I think that one was in Old Forge. People were walking around it taking pictures like they were hanging out with a big Lab. I thought, "oh well it's a matter of time authorities end up killing him as a nuisance", because people encourage the bears behavior.1 point

Not that we ever had any stores run out of meat, poultry, or fish around here during the lockdown, but the news reports of those days made me feel comfortable having a full freezer of venny on hand so we’ll hope to refill it this year. Other that that, I’ll be socially distancing at about 600 yards from other people and will mostly be masked.1 point
