  5. Had our 29 acres in Naples logged this year. He took out a ton of red oak, maple, and a couple black walnut. All 18"or over. Lots of tops laying around, and a lot more sunlight on the forest floor. My woods is about 80% red oak, so there's still a ton of them left. We had our pond up in the woods dug back out. It had become a mud hole. Looking forward to stocking it with perch and crappie. Seeded around the pond with a clover mix. Also had an old collapsed barn filled in. Seeded that with clover, too. It's coming up good already. Here are some pics of the work, and a small turnip plot my hunting partner and I put in two weeks ago.

  8. One of my favorite spots at Letchworth. It's only 80yds to the other side of the river..I've seen many bucks and does here. None that justified the November swim or 4hr drag out the other side..lol.. Just a beautiful spot to sit on a grassy bank on a sunny day..

  11. Had an amazing ride today, 50 or 60 miles, forgot to check, but tripmeter was set. Great smooth trails, all sorts of badass side by sides, and ATVs running the trails, and nice people everywhere! I love how you see folks out enjoying themselves on $100 beater ATVs, and other guys with $30k 4 seater side by sides, and everyone is down to earth! I love it, no arrogance here.

  12. I picked my first dozen ears of silver queen sweetcorn this afternoon. We are having it for supper, and that kind is always my favorite. The coons have not got into it at all, so we may get enough out of the few rows that I planted out back, to put some in the freezer. I trapped 4 coons earlier, near some earlier ripening types that were planted at the same time and a few weeks earlier, but the coons wiped out most of that before I got them. Coyotes found the shallow buried coon carcasses and have been keeping the corn coon free the last couple weeks. Hopefully, they move away before I start deer hunting in early November. I think you can legally start shooting them in October so I might have to try some of that.

  15. I been amazed at stupidity that has spouted from his pie hole and Twitter feeds the last four years. I wouldn't put this past him at all. I have to admit I was duped. I honestly believed a lot of the instagating and stir the pot comments from trump would tone down after his election. Not only was I wrong, it has gotten worse. He won't get my vote again.

  17. I have no way of proving whether Trump said this or not, but anyone who thinks that he is not capable of saying something stupid like this needs to wake up and smell the coffee. The drivel that comes out of his mouth is mind boggling.

  20. Shot Blue Mountain 3D course today with@chef@crappyice @the Jerkman. My first time ever shooting a course, it was awesome. Targets were beat up, so we scored 2 for a kill, 1 for hit but not money, 0 for miss. 14 targets and Shots ranges from 34 -57 yards. Many were 44-48yds and between trees etc. I had a blast and now a 25yd open shot will feel like cake. Afterwards we had some beers and venison. All in all, zero lost arrows on many difficult shots and long distances for all of us. And chef provided Cuban cigars! Jerkman 23 Biz 21 Chef 14 Crappy 14 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  25. A poor mast crop year works best , if you find a tree ( any mast tree ) that has fruit/ nuts it's the place to be. When every tree in the woods is loaded it take a bit to find the one they prefer over the others

  27. What is particularly head shaking is that is so easy to say the right things in these situations. It's as if his personality just stopped developing when he was an asshole17 year old.

  32. Even before President Trump was elected, there were those calling for his impeachment. Added to that were the many false and distortions of the truth by the media and his opponents. The false propaganda reminds me of a dark period of history. Apparently there are those using the same play book. Here is a prime example: “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” -Joseph Goebbels http://www.holocaustresearchproject.org/holoprelude/goebbels.html

  47. I rarely ever post any more, but I'm sick of the Trump bashers. This is from my friend Angelo: “To answer all of those who would say “I can't believe you would vote for Trump." Well folks listen up! I'm not just voting for him. I'm voting for the Second Amendment. I'm voting for the next Supreme Court Justice. I'm voting for the Electoral College, and the Republic we live in. I'm voting for the Police, and law and order. I'm voting for the military, and the veterans who fought for and died for this country. I'm voting for the Flag that is always missing from the Democratic background. I'm voting for the right to speak my opinion and not be censored. I’m voting for secure borders. I’m voting for the right to praise my God without fear. I’m voting for every unborn soul the Democrats want to murder. I’m voting for freedom and the American Dream. I’m voting for good against evil. I'm voting for FREEDOM against SOCIALISM. I'm not just voting for one person, I'm voting for the future of my country! What are you voting for, a demented, corrupt, pervert and a Socialist pig who used cunnilingus to get ahead?”
