Yea it’s a lot of jingle and probably a terrible waste of money. But I’m debt free and just topped off my daughters college fund so It’s a gift to myself as much as anything, I’ve always wanted one and they get more expensive every day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk3 points

Any energy policy that makes America reliant on foreign owned mines to provide essential rare earth minerals is a non-starter in my book. Add in the costs of upkeep and dismantling them at the end of their eyesore of a life, and you have a recipe for disaster. I agree that clean energy is a priority. These things are not the answer. Just another way for folks to line their pocketbooks at the expense of the everyman.3 points

Why do liberals all follow the same way of thinking lol With fossil fuels ,the saying goes “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it “applies here . Drive through Wyoming county, beautiful scenery ,until you see all the windmills .Most unsightly thing ever .Yet ,the same liberals want all land free and clear of man kind and remain “wild”yet they want to implement this garbage .The hypocrisy of these types blow my mind more and more each day3 points

A little overdue but I finally had a chance to send a few down range to see how it shoots. No complaints at all and I’m very happy with the results. I was shooting 115g HPBT. When I go back, I have several different hunting rounds that I’ll be testing to see what it likes.3 points

The future is nuclear energy, yet we're trying to power the world and travel on electric cars that run on batteries that pollute more than any type of fossil fuel. The audubon society said that wind turbines kill a lot of migratory birds ? Do you not care about the birds future's ?3 points

Hi everyone, I’m moving my family up from Florida this summer. Really excited to hunt some woods instead of the swamp. Hope you don’t mind me picking your brains as I get my bearings up here. I can’t wait to get my first grouse Let me know if you need any info for hunting and fishing in Florida.2 points

I recently picked up a international harvester 434, I'm having a bit of an issue finding the answer online but am wondering if anyone knows compatible loaders with this model? Just so I can start searching. If not, heres a couple pics anyway2 points

I can only imagine a pistol that fits that well. It really would be almost priceless. Your Porsche, Camry reference makes sense. I'm a $100.00 a bottle scotch lover on a Miller lite budget, lol.2 points

That was my go to salmon reel for years when fishing the lower river. Anyone whos fished the lower river knows how much tackle gets abused making the climb up and down. I had to make one little spacer that cracked and replaced the clutch pack once ,other than that it was solid . No complaints whatsoever. The nice thing about those reels is the parts are replaceable.2 points

I shot one of the Turnbull scratch reproductions. It was nice, but they dont seem to get a lot of love from 1911 folks but I dont know why. I'd still like one because they have no two tone finishes, goofy fishscale grips and the other crap that seem to be what's out there. But I'm not a pistol guy at all, so ymmv. Just so happens the latest stimulus check is almost exactly airfare for a safari, so that's where mine is going. Didnt spend the others either and are going to the same cause. It's the opposit for me. I hardly ever shoot the safe fillers. A really nice firearm that fits you, shoots stupid accurate, amazing trigger, silky smooth action is a joy in the hands. I have considerable rounds out of a few specific guns, they are worth every penny I have into them. 2 have seen some really hard field use and still look great(They can do pretty good at holding value too) It's not everyone's cup of tea, just like a Porsche gt3 and a Camry get you to the same place. But it's not the same, it just isn't. But I have been debt free since 30 and no kids, so I can afford to dabble with stuff.2 points

The future, wind mills last 20-25 years than get cut up in stuck in landfills what a joke. https://www.wind-watch.org/news/2020/02/05/wind-turbine-blades-cant-be-recycled-so-theyre-piling-up-in-landfills/2 points

I forgot to mention that China is presently buying as many mines/land as possible around the world that involves rare earth minerals, so as to control the flow of product and have world dominance.. Some of those minerals are necessary to build the batteries for those electric cars, plus wind generator components, among other things. I'm sure Mr. potato head has all this under control.2 points

Welcome to NY, a meat hunters paradise. I have been to most of the lower 48, and there is no state where I would rather live than NY. How long were you able to stick it out in Florida ? Most of my trips down there was in February or March, which was fine, but I am lucky the heat and humidity didn't kill me during the week we spent in Disney world in September. Ruffed grouse are about the only bird that I really like to eat, but it has been a few years since I have been blessed with one. They seem to be making a bit of a comeback up in St Lawrence county. I saw a few more up there while deer hunting last year than the year prior. The whitetail deer are my favorite to eat, and the only wild game I have had that was a smidge better was moose. You will find that they are about twice as big on average in NY, as they are in Florida. You got to look real hard to find any wild hogs in NY, and bugs and snakes also dont do as well up here. I never did so hot fresh water fishing in Forida, but we are blessed with many world class fisheries here in NY. The smallmouth is my favorite and I dont think there is another state that rivals NY, when it comes to those.1 point

I am in a similar situation as you. I just bought a brand new truck. I have a 74 mile round trip “commute”, but considering a corolla to beat around in, so that thing can take the wear, because I need the truck to last for trips/etc pulling the UTV/etc. I look at having a beater as more as saving your expensive vehicle, rather than the fuel savings, this way in 5 yrs it doesn’t have 120k miles, and not worth much.1 point

I say none of these mandated restrictions. I don't feel like being told how to spend my hard earned money. And that is exactly what Antler restrictions do. That said on private land if I was hunting on land other than my own and they said they want to focus on shooting deer with X properties and let those with Y walk, then of course you gotta respect the wishes of the owner. I'm all for self imposed restrictions, just not those imposed by the government in the form of ARs #ThankYouForLessOverzealousModding #WeDemandUnlimitedLikes #WeDemandADislikeButton1 point
