  2. Live from the office. Just settled one of the most contentious lawsuits I ever handled between some very well heeled farmers. My client's holdings just grew from 5300 acres to 6300 acres. I wonder if he has a spot I can throw a stand up. lol

  3. Got one!!!! It’s a small, should I let that spot rest or reset? I thought it knocked the trap over until I pulled it out of the water surprised is an understatement. Thanks to you and everyone else that gave me advice [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. The best part is your seeing bucks during gun season! Which is more than a lot of us "seasoned" hunters can say. The more opportunities the better chance to fill out a tag. Sounds like however your hunting your doing it right if your seeing them just haven't sealed the deal yet. Good luck.

  7. Hunted my SIL's property with my oldest son this afternoon . The only deer I saw was 3 that we spooked out of the gully . I heard a shot at 3:30 and my son said 7 or 8 deer came down through the fiels and he shot at a buck . He waited a bit and then shot a doe . Another double . We were able to quit early . Next up will be an afternoon hunt with my youngest son . So far we have gotten 3 bucks and 3 doe off that property . Life is Good !

  8. $65 this year.. I thought it was a bit pricey I felt like last year was 50? We have alot of fun cutting it down and enjoy the tradition. Also I like supporting the local tree farm.

  9. Backstraps are the best part by far. Salt & pepper and sit out until room temp. Then grilled quick & hot. Amazing. If the whole deer was backstraps I’d shoot does in December. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  14. Doing our tree on Sunday, so no pics yet. But my daughter loves the neighbors inflatable decorations. So my wife said if we buy 3, I don’t have to do lights. Best $ I ever spent. They all setup, staked, timer, taped, in 30min. And I’m done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  20. To have friends like these that are willing to come and enjoy a once in a lifetime buck on stateland. Pictures of them with me means more than a picture with the buck I shot. I'll be framing this picture and it'll be next to the buck when I get him back.

  24. I believe he’s not far from me, Canandaigua area . There’s loads of deer, but spotty ,as many know I have herds of them in summer but they’ve been leaving in Sept. the last two years , the farmer shot a nice buck a mile and a half or so from me, it was one of ten bucks he saw that sit, while I shot the first one I saw 8 days in . There’s been a number of nice bucks taken in the area this year . It’s also believed once pressure steps up many move closer to houses and to,town the cemetery gets loaded with them . Taking daughter #1 back out Sat. Canning this guy tomorrow.

  28. When we push we have the shooters either in tree stands or sitting up on ladders. Shooting at a downward angle in safe directions is the only way we do it. Plus we do slow moving pushes, more of a wind bump scenario not guys arm width apart yelling and clapping.

  30. What's in the book is that Trump tested positive before the debate. The book neglects to tell us Trump demanded a 2nd test. The 2nd test came back negative. It may have been an attempt to keep Trump from the debate. Does anyone believe anyone would've let Trump go on the debate stage if he tested positive? It would have been the talk of the day and the left would've screamed to high heaven to stop the debate. Trump didn't control the tests or the people taking them. The length of time between the debate and Trump having the virus indicates he was infected after the debate. The left is spreading rumors based on hearsay trying to keep us distracted from the disaster that is Joe Biden and this administration. It has taken them a year to come up with this ploy. The lying leftists are the schit in this bowl.

  35. Optics do gather more light so they do make it easier to see when it is getting dark. A good set of binocs are worth their weight in gold. But a good set doesn't have to cost a fortune. Good binocs can be had for $200. Study the details about binocs to learn what you want and need. I have found 8x40mm binocs to be perfect for hunting in NY where your shots will be 300 yards or less. Plenty of magnification to check out antlers and plenty of front lens to gather enough light to see at dawn or dusk.

  36. You shouldn't look through your scope to identify what an object is. What if said black moving object was a person wearing dark clothing now you have them in your crosshairs

  37. I’ve spooked plenty of deer, happens to everyone. The biggest concern I have isn’t that it’s a head on shot, but that it’s dark and you can barely see. Remember that seeing your target is only part of it, you have to be able to see what is in front of and beyond it. Keep at it, it sounds like your doing well for your 2nd year in.

  39. Why would you call that a strawman when these things are actually happening? The unvaxxed are being treated like lepers in this country while the vaccine has done nothing to stop the spread, and in fact covid is "worse" than it was before we had it. And I say all this as a vaxxed person Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  40. If you're worried about the virus, get the vaccine. If you're not worried, don't get it. If you don't get the vax, get the virus and die, you can only blame yourself. If you are vaxed and get the virus, the govt has assured you it won't kill you, so why worry? Government over reaction leads to tyranny. People need to be aware the government loves lots of power and will embrace every opportunity to increase it's power. And once they get it, they never give it up.

  41. If there is proof he didnt anything wrong ,this expamle or others you can bet your bottom dollar it would be made public . His 4 years was the biggest witch hunt. If they had anything on him it was coming out . It's funny how we have by far the biggest joke of a president in american history occupying the White House and the left is still talking about trump .

  43. I’m happy for anyone who takes what makes them happy ,big or small .I’m willing to bet ,most who hunt ain’t going hungry anytime soon if they don’t harvest a deer .I could be wrong but correct me if i am .If they spend any money like I do for this ,there’s better meat deals for them in the grocery store lol.

  44. The reason the govt is pushing for 100% vaccine use is so it can eliminate the control group of people who never got it. This way in the future when people start to grow a third ear, they won't have to worry about people who didn't get the shot, and don't grow a third ear, proving the shot caused it. Vaxed folks still get the virus, still transmit it and still die from it, just like unvaxed folks, so what exactly is the reason everyone should get vaxed? The unvaxed are taking a risk that can only hurt them, nobody else. And why must people who've had the virus, survived and have the antibodies already, get vaxed? Science says pushing the vax isn't justified.

  45. I may have answered a portion of my question.......... If the proposed regulation is adopted, Southern Zone counties that choose to prohibit hunters from participating in the holiday deer hunt in their county must annually adopt a local law specifying exclusion from the Dec. 26 to Jan. 1 portion of the late bow and muzzleloader season. For this year, counties that pass such a local law will need to send a copy of their adopted law to DEC before Dec. 25. In future years, counties that withdraw must send a copy of their adopted law to DEC by May 1 of each year to allow publication in DEC’s annual hunting and trapping regulations booklet.

  47. So last night my friends and I had a wagyu feast. Unreal! We Started with a 45 day aged ribeye. Then we moved to a 50/50 wagyu-holstein from Australia. We did half of this cut nigiri style with a glaze from Japan. Then we ended with A5 wagyu from Japan. These were the best cuts of meat I have ever eaten with the 50/50 wagyu-holstein being the champ. The pics should be in order of how I listed.
