  3. Thought I would give an update on my fire Hazzard! I put a post up on FB to find someone to clean the lint and do a couple other things. After a few days someone did respond and I had her over. Told her what I wanted, she said I will be back tomorrow with her son. I wanted to know price first. She said she was paying it forward and didn't charge me. She said it was bad and I was very lucky no fire. She still wouldn't take money, I gave her son a new Harley Davidson jacket i didn't like. He was beyond thrilled

  8. Hit a lake today instead of the streams. They didn’t stock it yet so I messed around with bass and tried for perch. The water was warm at 50* wind was blowing pretty good. I couldn’t get the bass to take a woolybugger they seemed to like the blue/chrome Chloe tin. I’m going to try another lake tomorrow for perch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. By all means add some gas to the tank like Mowin suggested . This alone could be " Problem Solved ". So do this 1st. Rob-C checked off the fuel shut off valve. And Rob-C just beat me to the possible vent line . Here are a couple other easy things to check . The kill switch to make sure it didn't get moved by accident. On my Honda its right above the start button . I looked for a picture of yours and it looks like its in the same place near the start button. It easily can get switched and go unnoticed Take the spark plug wire off and check it for spark by holding it next to the plug or other metal. If there is spark put it back on and spray some starter fluid on the air filter in the intake valve . If it fires up with the spray then its in the gas line. Might want to check the gas filter on the gas line too. It could be clogged up . Hope one of the suggestions everyone made works out for you . They are all easy fixes except the carb being gummed up . But they do make some good additives that you mix in with the gas in the tank that work great too without taking it apart

  12. "The White House has had five separate lies on inflation. Their first lie was: It's not happening. Don't believe your eyes. There's no inflation. Their second lie was: Oh, it's transitory. Yes, it's happening, but it's transitory. Just for a moment. The third lie is, and this is from Ron Klain: It's a high-class problem. It's there, but it's a high-class problem. Aren't you lucky to have inflation? Their fourth lie was: It's happening, it's not transitory, it's not high-class, but it's a good thing. It's a sign of how great the economy is that you can't afford to pay for your groceries or put gas in your car. Then lie number five that every Biden apparatchik is repeating: Putin, Putin, Putin. They decided politically, let's blame this train wreck of a Biden energy policy on Vladimir Putin. You know what? The gasoline prices had risen 48% before Putin invaded Ukraine. As the sticker says on the gas pump, 'I did this.' Joe Biden did this." —Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX)

  14. I’ve been shooting the berry’s bullets in my 357 magnum revolver with good results,so I ordered some for my dirtythirty and loaded them up with a few different powder’s I have the first group is imr 4320 the second group is varget the third is imr 3031 the fourth is red dot way to hot of a load. All where supposed to be around the 2000fps mark but I didn’t check with the chronograph yet. I was shooting hardcast bullets with horrible results. I think is the micro groves in my marlin the gave me shotgun patterns, key holing and leading. Problem solved with berry’s bullets. If your looking for some plinking bullets check them out. I dig one out of my sand trap. I might back off the crimp a little. Sheared off the extractor with the second shot of red dot. Prime was flattered case stuck in chamber. 15. Another successful day with this group of kids. Our first day putting holes in paper, and the kids loved it. We also discussed plans for field trips to local historical sites. We even had a young lady and her father stay late to get some tips on setting up her 1st turkey gun (Remington 1100). I'm really enjoying running this program.

  16. I didn't see this mentioned yet. While checking for spark, put a new plug in it. Even if the old plug looks fine, it could still be at fault. I had this happen recently that the plug looked okay and had spark but it just wasn't hot enough to start a cold engine. And please, do not put a champion plug in it. Go to a powersports shop and get the right NGK plug. Good luck.

  19. End-o-Backstrap with asparagus and beans and rice. Some time ago I asked about aging venison and as usual got many great answers like hanging when below 40 degrees, placing in an old frig that does not dehydrate etc. Then someone said: "or you can age in the frig after defrosting". I have had great luck with that method, this strip of strap had nice aged color about a half inch in (couple weeks in frig still wrapped in clear wrap and freezer paper as I do when processing) and super tender even given the cut.

  21. Got a new gadget in the mail. Gun has literally been a Saint with no issues. Reloading though I don't want to have a stuck case and end up beating on the thing. Push the button, rachet the handle out, and pull back. It cams against the upper and pulls the stuck case. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

  22. I am also on the Berry's bandwagon, I have only experience with straight wall handgun bullets, they have very good accuracy, waaay cleaner than swaged or lubed cast lead and they are priced reasonable. Al

  23. Shoots the 3" #4 ok at 40. I have 2 rounds of 3 1/2 #5 left. 8 rounds of the federal tungsten 3 1/2", which shoots very nice. I'll take a shot with it at 20, and 50 after I strip and clean her!

  26. I would not use Red dot in a 30-30 that powder is made for shotguns and handguns. I did see some load data for cast bullets of 6gr’s of red dot but I still wouldn’t use it.

  27. Berry’s bullets are great for the price. I would not be using red dot for a 30-30. Very fast pistol/shotgun powder. You must have had too much powder to have those pressure signs, doesn’t take much with that fast powder

  28. Its not a great shot, but it was over 150 yds away and through some brush. It tells me that it wasn't worth it to try to sneak closer for a better look or shot with my bow. lol

  29. Ok when you say very little is it low enough that you to have turn the fuel valve to reserve for it to run ? Poor some gas in and try to start it . If it still doesn’t run unhook the fuel line from the carb , run it into a jug and turn on your fuel shut off to see if you’ve got flow to the carb . If you do then it’s the carb and probably needs to be disassembled and cleaned .

  30. If there's very little in the tank, add some. Could be fuel to low and under the pickup line.

  31. 100% not sane. He was also railing against Eric Adams who is black. He was mental. And his actions proved this wasn’t racially motivated. They were the actions of an insane person I’ll ask the question again. The last time you were on the subway what was the racial makeup of it? I can say the last few times i rode the subway I was one of maybe 3/4 white people. Somethimes I was 1/1. And if he was racially motivated to kill whitey, why did he choose the subway that is predominantly used by minorities in nyc and not a whole foods in the suburbs?

  33. I'm guessing it has a heated throttle? If so there must be a switch for it . You could even disconnect it at the connector . If it doesn't have a heated throttle you may want to perform an exorcism or sell it.
    1 point
  34. You have a short somewhere.. no reason for the throttle to be hot at all..its just a cable to open the gas flow.

  38. With all due respect, stick to what you know. Trolling the deer hunting threads here. Leave the turkey hunting stuff to those that are serious about it and give a shit. That being said, if you want to kill a bird 5.1, PM me. I have several turkey guns that shoot lights out and the places to kill birds. Be more then happy to sit with you. Just quit being a douche.

  39. I have a box of Remington Nitro Turkey 12 Guage Number 5's with 8 of 10 shells left in it. Information on the side of the box is as follows: 12 Gauge, 3 inch Length, 1210 Velocity FPS, 1 7/8 Oz. Shot, #5 Shot. I know that many are having a hard time finding ammo, so I thought I would list it here. I am not looking to make money on it, hoping to maybe find somebody with some old Turkey & Turkey Hunting magazines to trade with. (They must be in good shape and ones I do not have) I had offered it to another member here that I am also on another site with but he was set so since I can't sell them out of NY I thought I would try this. I think we should try to help one another with this craziness going on, not try to price gauge one another like I have been seeing everywhere. I am a firm believer in sportsmanship, so lets do the sportsman like thing and help one another out. Stock picture. I am going to be leaving for church shortly but will check back when I get home.
