  4. Lol - TF is a good salesman, he should be on QVC. Im having a yard sale in August both will most likely be available to add to your fleet if you change your mind. i also have a large toaster oven i will throw in the deal. I am not totally unsold on the sous vide yet as i wanted to try it for duck breast. But i can say the 3-4 hours for a venison loin that i had to sear in cast iron anyway was no better than it usually is. The air fryer is a huge disappointment luckily that was a gift. Im gonna pass on the griddle. I can see an advantage for a large group out camping or tailgating but at home for me, sometimes the GF and the dog not so much. Im gonna stick with the grill, smoker, pizza stone, 2 deep fryers, can cooker and cast irons. You need to add one of these to your fleet!

  8. Apparently some of the Michigan Ford team is out here in Phoenix testing out a few vehicles. They have a few Ranger Raptors and a trio of covered cars - presumably next Gen mustangs. Long front end. Staying at the same hotel. I was allowed to snap shots of the Ranger Raptors. Figured I would share. Both of the Raptors were right hand drive but they’re testing the engine and transmission in the heat and running them hard off road they said.

  9. It's a numbers game - the more you throw your lure in the right places, the higher your odds of hooking up. If you're fishing just outside the weed line in coves/bays, and throwing a flashy spinner type of lure: for example a #3 or #4 Mepps red& white anglia or a blue fox vibrax with a silver blade and bright red barrel, you will find success eventually. Live bait does work, however, it's a more passive approach. Find the pike by chucking your lures and covering water where they are most likely to be. Most often that will be in less than 10 feet of water. Keep at it and you will prevail. Good luck.

  10. I’m going to be the new owner of this 95 acre property and cabin. I mapped the geology on this property as part of my Masters theses back in the 1990’s! The lady who sold me the property remembered me…crazy small world! Before this property, all my hunting was/is behind my house in western NY on my 15 acres of land. https://www.whitetailproperties.com/hunting-land/new-york/allegany/custom-built-hand-hewn-log-home-on-organic-acreage-allegany

  11. Bought a Glock 43X today. Went to the local Shop down the road and they had everything I wanted to hold. the Sig365 felt too small. My pinky hangs off. He said I can get an extender but idk it just felt off. The hellcat felt great. The Glock 43 felt great too. The Glock 43Xmight felt the best. So I was between the 43 and 43X and ultimately went with the 43X. The hellcat looks cooler, but I had to be unbiased and go with what felt best. Now I’ll look into a PJ IWB holster and what ammo suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  14. Started a few years ago using the cell-links that use a ribbon cable to connect to the SD card of existing camera; ended up getting 4 of them and used on various model of cameras with relatively good results - biggest issue was 2 sets of batteries per camera (1 set in camera, 1 set in Cell-link device). The link device only allows still pics, no video from your current camera. Never had issues with cell signal - I'm in 8J with good coverage. Usually get notifications of pictures within a minute or 2 of them being tripped. Did have 1 camera that died, customer service made me jump through hoops (replace batteries, do a long format on a PC of the SD card, use another SD card, reboot, wait 24 hours for it to find a cell signal, stand on your head) before sending out a replacement device. Switched to the LINK-MICRO-LTE-V model that's self-contained and for 2 years been happy with them. Batteries were swapped out around 1st of the year, and a few cameras were still showing 20% battery life last few weeks. You get low-res photos via the app (either mobile app or website) and then have the option to download a high-res image. When you pull the SD card on the camera - all the images as saved as hi-res. I'm currently running 4 links and 6 full cameras - the plan to increase the # of photos is per camera, not per account. I usually pay monthly, and only bump up a plan if the camera is getting a lot of pictures. Free plan is 100 pic a month, and like 5 hi-res downloads. Basic is 250 ($4/month) Standard is 1000 ($7) and unlimited is $10. Here's examples of a low-res and high-res picture from the same camera...

  16. My fleet includes: Deep fryer, Turkey fryer, smoker, charcoal grill, gas grill, blackstone, pizza stone (heats best on the gas grill), and a grill that goes over the fire pit. No air fryer or sous vide because I identify as a man! This arrived as a late Father's Day gift today: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. I would say it really depends on what you think you will be cutting most of the time. I use my flail mower a lot more than my brush hog. I am cutting 90% grass and food plots, so very few small trees or obstructions in the way. When I am clearing out a new trail thru thick heavy stuff, I will switch to the brush hog, but once the path it pretty well cleared I go back to the flail mower.

  20. Come on Chef, you aren't that dumb. Fuel companies are making record profits because they aren't investing in drilling, refineries, pipelines or anything else for the future. That is a direct result of Bidens war on oil. There isn't anyone else to blame. Democrats make it impossible for oil companies to invest in the future and then make them out to be the bad guys when their profits go way up like they are the evil ones....If Putin and the pandemic are to blame, why did prices rise the day Biden took office? I think you need to look in the mirror to see who is being ignorant... I don't know of a single mom and pop gas station (single owner) that has credit terms with a fuel company. I used to know a lot of them. Most of them have been bought out. We aren't a billion dollar company like Stewarts, Cumby's or 7-11. Its, you want the fuel, we'll bring it and in the last year i have had to prove i could pay for it when it was dropped. I'm guessing because a lot of single store owners haven't been able too....

  21. Bryan i think the hog is better for rough stuff with small trees and shrubs but the flail does a neater job on grass.

  22. This time of year, get out early. The boat traffic spooks them deeper. I love fishing the St. L., but have never caught a northern on a Dardevil. I usually put a Mepps#5 spinner (gold or silver ) on and cast it all day, and if they are biting...they will bite. Work the deeper edges of weeds near deep water. As has been mentioned, hook a big minnow or small perch through the back and suspend just above the bottome in a weed pocket with a bobber on top. When the bobber travels, let it go. When the pike stops, he his turning the bait to swallow. When he moves the 2nd time, set the hook. The lake of the isles can be good in the deeper sections. If you arent catching weeds, you wont catch a pike.

  23. Nice poem ..Hehehehe.. Reminds me of the outhouse back on the farm.. We couldn't afford toilet paper, so we had a sack of red corncobs and a sack of white corncobs...You'd wipe with a couple of red corncobs and then you'd wipe with a white corncob to see if you needed any more RED corncobs...

  24. Most fruit trees require 2 trees to properly polinate . But you need to think of what you want and when you want it to mature/ drop fruit. Some drop early some hold.fruit very late.. i buy what i like to eat and deer dont seem to mind it either

  25. My sentiments exactly.....Suspend that perch about three feet under a bobber and fish him near a weedline... At a camp I used to fish in Quebec, we would fish a small piece of worm in shallow weeds to catch a few small perch, and then we would hang them under a big bobber for the pike...

  27. Me and my father just closed on a small cabin with 42 acres in deposit area. All hard woods but 2 neighbors are farms. Deer density isn’t fantastic but some of the deer killed in the area over the past 10 years are good sized bucks for that area.

  28. Here is pic from one my cams. Not a great pic as there was bright sun and cam is in shade but I'm satisfied. They save on trips to go check sd cards in non cell cams, so save on some gas with prices being so high.

  29. Anti-Second Amendment activists have long set their crosshairs on America's most popular firearm, the AR-15. While legislation aimed at banning that rifle is a nonstarter in Congress, Biden and crew are still determined to do everything they can to limit your access to it. In that vein, Biden took a page out of Barack Obama's playbook and is going after the ammunition used for the AR. The government-owned Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Missouri has produced ammo for the U.S. Army since 1941. The factory also sells excess supplies to private sellers such as Winchester, which in turn sells the ammunition on the open market. Lake City happens to be one of the largest manufacturers of 5.56 ammunition, one of the calibers used by the AR-15, producing approximately one-third of all 5.56 ammo sold in the U.S. Now, however, the Biden administration has slated Lake City for closure, a move that would eliminate some 400 to 500 jobs and significantly impact the nation's supply of 5.56 ammo, even as current supply levels struggle to keep up with demand. This closure would "freeze over 30 percent of the 5.56/.223 caliber ammunition used by law-abiding gun owners," observed Mark Oliva, spokesman for the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Worse, he says, "It risks the ammunition industry's ability to surge production capacity for national defense if the costs to maintain the present workforce isn't recouped through sales to the civilian market." If you like your gun, you can keep your gun...

  30. Cold rocks cause hemorrhoids. Pine cones leave a fresh scent back there, though a bit sticky. Reply to both of yous: I don't use my socks or gloves. Hard to scrape chit out of the inside of a boot if you use a sock. If you use a glove and then have to pick your nose.......................................

Its now mine....I have already hit the line of credit for 200k,,,,,,maybe the owner should go for 500k in loans since they must be free in your mind..... Its damn hard to make money selling a $5 product that you make 10cents or less on...... Man, you sure know how to make a persons blood boil!
