Never did a poker run before, I ran one on Sacandaga on Saturday. What a blast, met some new friends and burned way to much fuel but it was worth it!5 points

A few of the better ones from today's pulls. I'm most excited about the middle one, he's a 5 yr old this year. Not a giant by any means but 4 yrs of history (notice left ear notch). Thought he had probably been shot last season. Between this property and another I hunt a mile away, I know of at least 25 bucks that were killed last season...four were 150"+5 points

If it is not clearly stated in the US Constitution, it is up to the States to legislate and enforce. That's called Federalism. No one lost any rights. Nothing was banned or outlawed. The people and their elected representatives are responsible for deciding what is and is not legal, in all of the States. In one particular supreme Court decision, that power was returned today. Because the original decision was unconstitutional. You live in a Republic. Be grateful for that. Pick up a copy of the United States Constitution, and a copy of your State Constitution. Read them carefully and understand them.3 points

Many don’t really care. I always thought folks would jump at a chance to hunt somewhere else for different game. But the fact is it’s just not a priority for most. I’ve been doing a hunting and/or fishing trip for the last 32 years (missed 2019 due to illness,2020 because of Corvid restrictions). For me, its been a awesome time; but now I understand that its not for all2 points

5 tablespoons of EVOO was used in the making of this meal for 4 people. That's alot if veggies and "grilled" chicken I was curious if this was a "healthy" meal so I paid attention. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Trico (RIP) used to get a kiddy cone of vanilla from the Mr. Softee truck who would stop In front of the house. He would sit and eat it neater than the kids if I held it for him. Even nibbled down the cone in correct circular motions! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Up at 1, fire started at 2, miss Piggy (105lb) on at 2:45. Grandnephew highschool graduation party. Injected it yesterday around 3pm with apple juice and apple cider vinegar with some granulated garlic and onion. Cooking at 275° for the first few hrs, or until I get the color I like, then flipping to finish off the cook at 225°. Using chery and hickory. Planning on taking this one to 200° in the shoulders. I'll use the skin as a "bowl" and people can grab the pulled from whatever area of the pig they like. Should be done around noon. Give it a hrs rest before digging in.2 points

So I had this old Deer leg laying around and hung it from the fence in the area the little Gray Fox was being seen hoping to get a few more photos with him gnawing on it. I look out the kitchen window and he is out there but not interested in the Deer leg, he was pouncing on Voles and was in the company of a couple of hen Turkeys who were wandering around with him paying zero concern or attention just scratching up the leaf litter around the bottom of the fence for whatever they could find. Kind of surprising I think. Al2 points
