  1. 1 day left in my house I move up the Homestead tomorrow morning. Just have to pack up the truck with a bunch of small stuff and off I go. Been looking forward to this a long time. Have a bunch of projects to do nothing crazy and I should be set for the fall. Headed out to Calverton National Cemetery to see my folks this morning with my daughter. That should be it. I'll let you know when I get there!! lol

  5. I was clearing trails around the land last weekend and watched a hen fly up into a tree to roost about 50 yards away. It was almost dark, so I grabbed the thermal to take a look and while I was watching, a poult stick's it's head out from under her wing. Didn't see any other poults in the tree. First time seeing a hen cover a poult this way, but I guess when you only have one poult, you keep it close by. Hen + poult

  7. Well powerplant was destroyed but fed lots of deer. Definitely draws them in. Brassicas are coming in pretty well, I'm going to overseed bare spots and fertilize after this cold beer it's hot up here! Six bucks in the half acre plot the last two weeks, at least one shooter. Tomorrow I'll seed two loggings trails I usually have luck with. Both already sprayed and will be no till plots to make LETEMGROW proud. Very dissatisfied with the new camera I bought. Quality of pictures is crap.

  8. Tomatoes have been weird...staying green way to long on the vine- tempting fate of the squirrel/chipmunks but they just are not ready to be picked. My buddy gave me these-well I helped myself since he's away! Some plum tomato whose seeds are from Italy. Very few seeds inside but I am going to try and "harvest" and keep the seeds for next year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Going to caveat that I'm not Dan Infalt or anything. In my experience does will sacrifice bed safety for other things, like convenience to food sources. Bucks I've found generally bed in the safest, thickest, most remote terrain available to them in a given area. So for me some places (like Southern NY) that may be mountain laurel on the military crest of a point where they can look down the hillside in front of them and hear anything coming from behind in the laurel. In another place it may be cutover and in another that may be a spot of high ground in a marsh (though I've never killed a "marsh buck"). For example, on a piece of land I used to hunt does would bed basically anywhere things were moderately thick - even close to the camper trailer we stayed in. They'd even bed in open woods among blowdowns etc... I only saw bucks in person and on camera outside the rut in the thickest stuff on the backside of a series of fields during daylight hours. That area was thick enough that you couldn't walk through it without making a commotion, to the west was level ground and fields and to the east open woods with a steep downward slope. I suspect they liked it because they could visually cover the downslope with their eyes while anything coming from the fields would be easy to detect.

  23. According to my source, Soros owns the rights to this data (percentage of pedophile teachers) and will not release it to the public. Hmmm wonder why? It is well known that one a they cant be covered for anymore, they are just transferred to another district in another part of the country.

  25. A good comfortable stand. Game ears if your not use to hearing game vs being a visual hunter. Kiĺl a lot more game with your ears. Especially bowhunting. Good rangefinder and learn when and how to use it. Mark trees bushes shrubs before the game your after shows up. A good knife. And learn how to use it properly and sharpen it. Never really needed binoculars as mu shooting is usually under 50 yards and the woods is thick enough not to see further. Before game cams i used them to monitor game.out in fields . But cameras show me whats around a lot better. Out west where it more spot and stalk i can see the need.

  30. Poetic justice for Cheney- The Traitor Cheney is one of many recipients of poetic justice in the past year, the Cuomo Brothers, Terry McAuliffe, Kinzinger and even the libtard darlings of msnbc and cnn Madow and Stelter have been knocked off their high horses. There will be plenty more going down the toilet as time goes on. The great the "Progressive" experiment has been exposed and people are getting their heads out of their butts and coming to their senses as they can see this country is turning into a major shithole!!! 31. So none of my 30-06 rifles shoot a that well with Hornady eldx ammo despite I've gotten that ammo to shoot great in other rifles. Switched back to federal fusion (bonded) 150gr for this bear hunt. Got it dialed in dead on at 50 yards and real close to 200 yards for a zero. Pic is last shot at 50 yards. Wanting to bring a safe queen Remington 742 that was my grandfathers but it didn't shoot well with either of that ammo. Another trip to the range to dial in a backup 7mm-08 or see if the 742 will like green box core-lokts i have for my dad's gun better. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

  35. Tonight was the first chance that I had to upload some pics. It's a howa 1500 with a Kratos stock. It has a 22-in barrel and is chambered in 6.5 creedmoor. I have looked and looked but can't find anything on a model that has a cerakote barrel or the muzzle at the end. With that said, this thing shoots. I'm getting sub MOA groups with factory ammo.

  41. "When Republicans hold committee hearings, Democrats get to name their members. When Democrats hold committee hearings, they get to name all the members. When Obama Attorney General Eric Holder is held in contempt of Congress over his role in sending guns to drug lords, he can laugh it off. When former Trump trade adviser Peter Navarro is held in contempt, he is shackled by the FBI. When Democrats support underlying causes that end in riots, they are absolved of responsibility. When Republicans do, they are insurrectionists." —David Harsanyi

  42. You obviously have no knowledge of the two incidents, yet you comment about them. How about you do some research on both before spouting the leftist drivel ? Mr Brooks died on June 12th, 2020 Ashli Babbitt died on Jan 6th, 2021 One was a criminal, the other was a protestor. Trying to equate the two shows how clueless you really are.

  43. What you guys say, meaning people with a brain who wait for the facts to be presented before jumping to a conclusion ? Why should she have complied, when for the last two years leftists were rioting with impunity and being bailed out by the same people who were defunding the police that were there to protect us ? I guess there's different rules for dealing with Pro American white woman, than Anti American minorities ?
