Yesterday saw 8 deer at 10am moving. All does and runts. Then at 130pm a 6pt that lost one rack (3pt) came the other way. Today not a damn thing. Only came in from noon to 3. That's probably when they went by my stand.

I could swear last weekend when my kid went in early, the deer assumed we both left and came out. I also know that at the end of the day, the neighbors dog barks at the deer as the come out. That's kind of my cue to get ready. Getting a shot is another story.

Depends on what barrel you have. Twist rate on the aftermarket 870 barrel made by Maverick is supposedly 1 in 10 inches. If you have a 1 in 28 twist rate, maybe the faster rounds are better. I read that fast rounds leave the gun before the rifling gets them spinning? Bottom line: see what your gun likes. FWIW Lightfields leave a bigger hole on paper than most.

It worked again today. They are coming around to it. I would say make sure it is completely thawed though. The instructions tell you to put it in the fridge the night before. (From the freezer) sometimes there is still frozen crap in the bottle. You definitely get a good amount for the price too. NY product. Shut up and buy it.

They sell it at Dick's in the Poughkeepsie Galeria. It's just frozen urine. I had a young buck come in after legal shooting time with the doe in heat product. He had a friend with him.

We just suck at hunting and we don't want to admit it.
