  1. I bought these for my 14 year old daughter and it seems nice. Not waterproof but the quality is there. I was going to go the used route too but found people wanted as much as I could buy this stuff new. Plus if your near BassPro they may have it in stock to try on. https://www.cabelas.com/product/home/new-for-fall/she-outdoor-hunting-apparel/pc/105625080/c/106069680/sc/544961880/she-red-head-insulated-silent-hide-jacket/2816097.uts?slotId=1 https://www.cabelas.com/product/home/new-for-fall/she-outdoor-hunting-apparel/pc/105625080/c/106069680/sc/544961880/she-red-head-insulated-silent-hide-bib/2816096.uts?slotId=0
  2. Caught this one spooking some deer in the am. Slick Tricks did the job.
  3. Has anyone used shoot through mesh or screen material from Lowes so you can draw without getting busted?
  4. Blue path is where deer usually walk from fields to woods or vice versa. Yellow dots are property boundaries. Pink dots are current stands. X represents where I want to build ground blind. It is thick scrub brush in that area even though aerial doesnt show it.
  5. I have a spot where the deer walk down the middle of a field consistently where there are no large trees to put a stand in and very thick scrub brush on the edge. My thought was to build a homemade ground blind constructed of some pallets as the frame, roofing paper lined so it is dark inside and old christmas trees with various brush and limbs to cover the pallet. My hope is to have it be permanent so the deer get use to it and allow me a shot as they walk through the field. Anyone have any insight on this from your own experience or someone elses?
  6. Read this. Seems as though dec is not standing behind this and they are sticking with whatever data they collected from a 2016 study.
  7. Yes. I live in 4J bow only, so after I went to the southern tier for gun opener I have only been bow hunting.
  8. Seeing chasing activity in 4J, Albany County. Yesterday big buck trailing doe at 9:30

    2nd rut

Went out to my hunting spot yesterday and witnessed a large racked buck following after a doe. She really wasn't into it as she took off running as he was trotting after her. Monday pm hunt I saw a lot of buck movement, one slammer, one six, one spike and two doe. Gonna get out for an all day sit Friday.
  10. https://huntingny.com/forums/topic/23899-harvester-bullets/#comment-318385 try this. should show a post i did a while back with my impact
  11. I have the bushnell chuck adams model with angle compensation and it works very well. I would check on the Mike Waddell version as it has naglecompensation and can be had for about 135 on amazon. BTW check and see if redfield can warranty yours. Its worth a shot.
