    I bought my son a mossberg 20 ga......He now shoots all of my guns..started him out with a single shot 22 when he was 7 or 8...When he turned 12 gave him the 20...Now at 19 he out shoots me.

    Just got home,not as packed as last year,i also took info on bear from all Maine guides.Lots of fishing stuff.I have a buddy who works in Rockland he landed us some free passes so at least we got in for free.

    Saw 2 a couple years ago in Sullivan county none last year.I was surprised at the size one was.I had no clue what they were until i got home and looked on the comp...

    take her to shoot a 22 and let her enjoy the day,would be better if you can find a place outside where you can also enjoy just being out doors.A big part of hunting is just being outside.And the fact that you and her can do something together.
