This is all in concert with the desire to have "Universal Background Checks" as all of these administrative agencies are required to send all of this data to NICS. It will then be used for a denial when one of these people tries to buy a gun. The idea is to get as much prohibitive info as possible into NICS to effect as many denials as possible, thereby negating any claim you even have a 2nd Amendment right to own a firearm. From what I've read, anyone not capable of managing their own finances are the first target. Military Vets suffering from PTSD are next. I've also read the BATFE is now involved and is proposing many more categories that should be targeted. People need to realize, what they are proposing violates all protections of due process. Bill, the trouble is this stuff is being implemented by Executive order, bypassing the Congress. We need to be worried, very worried, about every threat to our 2nd Amendment rights. It a "death by 1000 cuts" agenda being implemented to reach the goal of total disarmament.

Obama is proposing taking guns away from anyone on SSI if they have someone else managing their check book for them. He's trying to say any level of diminished capacity is grounds for removing your 2nd Amendment rights. Someone could be in a wheelchair due to paralysis below the waist and using someone else to do their banking. Obama would take his guns. Democrats have NEVER seen a gun ban proposal they did not like!! They want ALL guns banned. If you ever cast a vote for ANY Democrat, you are helping them attain this goal!

Actually, it could have been from any unrecovered animal carcass that was killed by a gunshot, as any lead projectile used on an unrecovered rabbit, squirrel, grouse, turkey, fox, beaver, woodchuck, porcupine, etc., could be consumed by an eagle. What about lead in fish? Could it have ingested some lead split shot swallowed by a fish it ate? How long does it take for an eagle to die from lead poisoning after it ingests lead? Seems to me, preventing bird deaths from lead would require a total ban on all lead for hunting and fishing, and then there may still be some other sources of lead in the environment that would still pose a threat to them anyway.

This is an irresponsible society. No one is ever really held responsible for their actions in this society. This society makes excuses for the most horrible crimes, committed by the most despicable people. We are being conditioned to tolerate the intolerable. Compassion should be reserved for victims, but irresponsible people should not be declared victims. Consequently, we are breeding more and more irresponsible people everyday.

Politics is also costing you your freedom, but it takes effort to stop it. Too many people have no desire to stop it. They, like water, take the path of least resistance. But like water, they are going to end up in the sewer.

Worse, he is exploiting a recent tragedy and misinformation reported in the media to do so. According the FBI’s most recent NICS operations report, 9% of FBI NICS checks in 2014 were delayed “for additional review.” The report does not go on to detail how many of those delays extended beyond three days. Nevertheless, based on the total number of NICS check the FBI ran in 2014, these delays affected some 743,102 people. Meanwhile, the delays resulted in only 2,511 actions for firearm retrievals (or three-tenths of one percent of total delays). Thus, in over 99.6% of delayed cases, the delay was less than three days, the FBI could not substantiate the person was prohibited, or the FFL did not transfer the firearm. That hardly seems to indicate a public safety crisis demanding congressional intervention. This is especially so, because where prohibitions are substantiated after firearms are transferred following the three day window, law enforcement authorities already have the tools to act under current law.
