No, unless you can download the Vimeo file and convert it to MPEG-2 then burn it to DVD. Besides, this is so 90's technology. Try going directly to the source using your smart tv and try to play it through that. Or download the file in an avi format or something and pop it onto a USB drive and plug it into your tv. And that still doesn't work, buy chrome cast and have it "mirrored" from your phone to your tv. Edit: if you want to give the DVD to others, then you have no choice but to go the conversion route and make it into a readable format which is MPEG-2.
