  1. Its a new site, with a lot of the same members. Welcome!
  2. Eddie, that made me laugh pretty good.
  3. Great, I am reading this while watching ghost hunters right now.... No joke... Not going to sleep well (Meeeeeow!) unless I get some booze in me. (working on that)
  4. Nice bear! When does the season end? Its been quite active in the news since its the first years in a quite a few that bear season opened... And the fact that there are all these Anti's protesting the bear hunting season saying that they over estimated the herd... But 500 bear in a few days is pretty impressive no?
  5. Welcome to the site! Get in the woods
  6. Ok made my decision... Asking the wife for this kit: http://www.midwestsupplies.com/brewing-starter-kit.html And a few other extra's to get me going in the sport I'm psyched!
  7. I never used nor tasted butter milk to be honest, but I love cooking! I'll have to look into it.... Right now I am making chicken with whole wheat rice, mixed with onions, garlic and diced tomatoes... I wonder if it would be good with some diced venison... Perhaps just browned first to lock in the juices?
  8. I think they used some bad wording there... I assumed it means its optional / up to you.
  9. True... And the same goes for me... I think I almost wore out my string on my bow that's now 2 seasons old, she is fraying even with proper waxing and care. The only issue I see is those who bow hunt put more time in to prepare and sight in then those who don't. This may very well be a misconception and or ignorance on my part that I see / experience. I just feel that those who might buy a crossbow will not put the same effort forth that those with a bow do. Not to say that there are not guys that sight in a bow 1 year and don't do crap the next year or the year after for that matter.... Then again, who am I to judge those that don't! Whatever, it is what it is.
  10. Why buy a new bow when you can have a spiffy xbow to do the job with better range and more accuracy and less of a need to practice? Just saying if it was part of the archery season
  11. Wow, that sucks... To bad you didn't have the trail cam on!!
  12. I do the same for the Giants... They whooped some yesterday.
  13. I saw plenty during bow... Just out of range. Plots are still getting hammered, at night.
  14. Very true... The wind was nasty this year for us as well... Yesterday morning was brutal at about 9 it was kicking up at 30mph gusts with a steady 10mph+
