I'm just thinking because hey if estrous is in the air, and its not the season, then something must be up, I'm outta here. I'm sure I read it somewhere.
LOL, I don't think we can smell the difference... They both smell like 2 day old piss to me ;D . None the less don't use estrus pee to far before the rut as it will ( i think ) cause the deer to think twice because its not normal. Doe pee on the other hand can be used any time. The safe bet is just to use doe pee sparingly.
Fox Piss will work as a cover scent. Not sure what the other guy is talking about.
If I use deer piss, I use it very very sparingly. I rather not spook a deer with so many crazy scents, if anything I use the deer piss as a cover scent. I'll put out one wick maybe two with it on there.
LOL, that really made me laugh. If someone was on my property, at night, with guns you bet your ass I'd go out there with a gun as well. I would have waited for the cops, and stood by their vehicle, but thats me.
I'd have no problem tossing an arrow through it. It has no collar, its on my property, and they will feed on animals I'd like to hunt. Not to mention, this is over 1/2 mile from any house (only two near me, one has no pets, and one is a weekend NYC couple, so its not their cat)
I never have, but one is due to be delivered on Friday @ work just in time for hunting season. I got it off ebay, been trying to snipe one for 3 months, finally got a good deal. Its the HSS-400 - > http://www.huntersafetysystem.com/store/realtree-reversible.html - I liked it because its reversible, and my jacket is camo'd, so it will be perfect for rifle season. It comes with the "life line" strap as well. I guess it comes with some strap to attach to the tree too? No idea how these things work.
We have two camera's, they are maybe 100 yards apart, and there are different deer on them. A camera's range is so small, its like putting a treestand on 100 acres, your only seeing 1 very small part of your area. None the less, its fun, and can help to see what is in the area.
Sometimes those pictures are due to animals running by. Some camera's has a faster trigger speed then others.
BTW, I had 1900 pictures of a weed blowing by...
