Odds are 750,000,000,000,000,000 to 1. Good call Grampy. Lol -
Anyone have a Hatsan air rifle or pistol?
moog5050 replied to goosifer's topic in Small Game and Predator Hunting
Don't own one Goose but they have a decent reputation in the lower price point air guns. Made in turkey. -
I would suggest he wait for a warm day and go sit from 11-3pm (so as not to interfere with sleeping in or dinner). Any sunny spot in the woods should do. He shouldn't expect to shoot anything but what the heck, he is lazy so probably doesn't have any desire to deal with skinning a yote anyways. Out of house and no work. win-win.

So cool! Nice job Tacks! What is the DW/DL Jay?
-
Those blinds look great. They are more of a permanent blind but I see one in my future at some point. You don’t remove the skin for the winter?
-
I have the primos double bull blind. Works great and no flapping.

I am sure you all know this but like ibo ratings on bows, Airgun manufacturer speed ratings are done with crazy light pellets. You will not achieve those velocities with hunting weight pellets. Not that you need 1000fps to kill a squirrel. Viz - cool that your wife wants to get out there and shoot.

For you folks looking for the Ruger 9mm, $594:

Best survival rifle ever made
moog5050 replied to Hunter007's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
Blunderbuss - depends on what you are trying to survive. Not technically a rifle I guess. -
No doubt I shoot the smaller guns better off hand. My 3030 is my favorite but I am going to make due with the others. Don’t want to deal with modifying.

I am in!

Sounds like fun if you ever want to make the drive to Monroe county!
-
Happy BDay my friend.
-
TF get yourself a bow and certified. Depending on DW I might be able to send you arrows that tune. And I will get you out. Only 1 hour drive. And good idea Rob. He is missing best part of the season!
-
Then I probably should practice while sitting and surfing the net. Lol.
-
That’s a lot of rounds but I figure if I shoot 100 rounds a week mostly pellet but mixing in powder burners, I will improve. I have seen improvement in a week already. More consistency on grip, butt placement and cheek weld. Not sure I have natural talent but that has never stopped me before. Lol.
-
Geeze TF is the first to wish everyone else Happy BDay! Hope your day is filled with family and good food. Guessing it is!

I liked wind river too

Arguing over who’s dad would win in a fight aside, I had no Idea antelope are that abundant and easy to kill. Might have to try that at some point.

That’s not the down one I use but I don’t see the down one on their site either. Maybe this is the replacement style. Good price.

No need to criticize the thread Val.

Ok new addition: Probably need to have kids to know the movie but it’s hilarious. Gunter is the best. First to name it wins Mowin’s bacon.

And thanks to you folks on the pellet thread, I now shopping for a new magnum Springer. Might even chase some small game around in January.
